Ramada by Wyndham High River

Our group (U15 hockey team) had an incredible experience at the Canalta Hotel in High River, thanks to Wendy, the manager, and her amazing staff. Wendy is the definition of going above and beyond; flexible, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone is comfortable and cared for. She made everything feel easy, even with a big crew (four hockey teams plus regular guests!) and lots of moving parts. I even spoke to guests not there for hockey who loved it! That’s unheard of. 👏👏

Her staff was just as fantastic. They were kind, patient, and let the kids have fun without ever making anyone feel like a burden. And the front desk team that worked late? Absolute gems. They gave the parents space to relax and enjoy themselves while still keeping things respectful and under control. Perfect balance.💕

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you want a place that treats you like family and truly understands customer service, this is it. We’ll absolutely be back!🎉

This hotel was a great choice for our weekend trip, even during a sold-out period. The rooms were large and very comfortable. They had really soft beds. The TV offered lots of channels
​The bathroom featured a great shower with good water pressure. On the amenity side, it was fantastic to have Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion provided, and I particularly loved the little Dove soap bars. My only critique of the bathroom is that the cloth shower curtain didn't do the best job of keeping water in, so the floor tended to get wet outside the shower. Also, the 1 ply toilet paper.

​The only real challenge of our stay was the parking. Because the hotel was sold out, parking was scarce, and we had to park a little ways down the street. It wasn't too far

The staff was very friendly and helpful, parking was easy, breakfast was great. Only wish it was in walking distance to downtown, but would definitely stay at the Canalta High River again.

This was a nice hotel , rooms were clean, good amenities, nice staff and great breakfast !

Safe parking area and great breakfast. Water slide was fun. Toilet did not run properly.

The only issue i had was getting my receipt for my stay, and I believe it's more of an expedia problem. Expedia said i paid at the property, but i didn't. So, for me to expense my stay for work has been a challenge.

Cleaned room and safe area...

The staff were great, very accommodating and quick service. Greeted with smiles from everyone. The pool was amazing, and the waterslide provided tons of entertainment for all.
The continental breakfast was also fantastic, lots of options and friendly staff

Came here for a wedding, the town is gorgeous and the hotel is awesome as well

We were in High River for a family wedding and we choose CanAlta because we wanted a pool for the young kids to expel their energy in a nice place!!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming!! We have great memories of our time together and will definitely choose this location if we ever need a nice bed and quiet space!! Thanks again for everything!!
