The stay was simply not great.
Pros:

The towels are wash clothes were so used it was nasty to think about putting them on your skin or face.

The trash was never picked up by the doors.

Cons:

I could not get coffee for free and the towels and wash clothes were extremely used and dingy.

The bed was not very comfortable.

Great location and amenities but beware Marriott bills you AGAIN for a DESTINATION/URBAN FEE
Pros:

Location and room were excellent! Facilities were well cared for, clean and staff were attentive.

Cons:

Restaurant breakfast options were poor and expensive. Prices were much higher than expected by comparison especially when a lot of options are close by.
MARRIOTT DOUBLE CHARGED FOR THE DESTINATION FEE. It's been over 2 weeks since my stay and I'm STILL dealing with Marriott/Sheraton to get a refund on this. The hotel will bill an invoice on checkout for taxes and "urban fees" that if you booked through booking.com, you paid for as destination fees. I argued with them on the phone and they verbally agreed but after another 10 days, I had to call Marriott back to find out and they decided that no they are different and they will not refund me the invoice. Thankfully, Booking.com also addressed it and did end up refunding me the invoice amount I was charged.
The hotel itself is great but the after stay billing headache and SNEAKY DOUBLE CHARGING is absolutely SCUMMY.

Beautiful hotel!
Pros:

Great location. Beautiful decor. Spacious room. Loved being about to stream tv.

Cons:

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Sheets were scratchy. For the cost of the stay I expected a more comfortable sleeping experience.

Excellent place to stay... loved it.
Pros:

Very clean room and loved the smell (and bath products, I actually went online later and bought some!). The front desk were so nice and accommodating. After my flight got cancelled, I went right back there and stayed one more night rather than stay closer to the airport. I chose to travel there on the trains, and it was very easy.

Good stay, horrible parking!
Pros:

The Sheraton Downtown Phoenix was clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurants had good food, not spectacular but good. The pool was nice and the bartender at the pool was very attentive. My only complaint and it is a big one is there is very little parking. I had to park my car two blocks away in a public lot. We attend a convention at this location every year at this time. Although, it is convenient to stay at the hotel that hosts the convention, next year I will stay somewhere else due to the parking challenges in the Arizona heat.
