W6 Hotel Hammersmith

Didn't have cutlery. There was a dirty washing up sponge. Bathroom was alright but shower grout needed a clean/touch up. Thin walls so you could hear loud tv next door, as well as 5am what sounded like someone trying to plug something in the wall and missing it for about 20 mins. But otherwise, quiet neighborhood.

The building in general is beautiful, location is perfect only missing owner, more care of this place.

There were a lot that i didn’t like about the hotel. First is the room, we were given lower ground room at first at the room was bad! We were stunned at first and stood there for like 2-3min and decided we needed a change. Luckily the staff was okay with that even tho he asked why. I just answered the floor, lol it was really bad and scary. But it didn’t stop there. Next we got 2nd level room. The stairs very narrow. Not recommended for people with big luggages, no lift! Hard to lift up the staircase. The room was better, and we stayed. Then the heater is quite old but functioned well. I think others okay. Just a bit smelly at the entrance of the hotel. If you guys will bring small luggage or short stay is fine.

Guess I got the short straw for my room because unfortunately there's a lot I didn't like about this place. The photos speak for themselves. Its clear as day what to expect in this "Luxury Suite" upgrade I got on this site lmao. My stay was in April 2026. Since there are similar photos dating awhile back, its clear that they don't intend to ever clean this room properly so I don't feel bad giving it the review it deserves.

The most egregeous part of this place is undoubtebly the cleanliness and just general damage. Quite frankly I have never seen a more disgusting place. Literally. If someone asked me whether it was legal to sell this to the public I would have assumed not. That's just how bad it was. Again the photos speak volumes.

Here's a list of the damage I could see during my single night visit.
- Chipped dresser
- Utterly destroyed Lampshade
- Wardrobe handles upside down and paint smeared over it
- A window that cannot be locked or closed
- Roller blinds that look as though they've never been moved or cleaned
- MASSIVE ammounts of floor damage
- Chipped skirting boards
- Both radiators were rusted, unclean, chipped and discoloured
- Rusted unclean wastebin
- Rusted unclean Taps & Faucets
- Broken doorhandle on toilet
- Chipped painted doors
- Hole in the wall from the main door
- Disgusting crusted milk pods left in the fridge...
- Chair was chipped and had holes in the leather
- Cheap ID card with literal duct tape on there
- Hand prints all over the walls
- Unclean TV remote with no back

What's most ALARMING is that you can't lock the window since you're on the ground floor in London of all places. I slept with the kitchen knife just in case. I wouldn't be happy for my daughter to sleep here alone that's for sure. Also, I felt as though I needed to wear shoes at all times when inside this room. Something that should never be the case really.

- Room dated, and demands some care and minimal decoration.
- Not attention to detail. There are fixes here and there and patches that have been done in the apartment along the years without putting some love on them (i.e: patches in the walls in different colours, the silicon in some parts of the bathroom need to be replaced, etc).
- The floor in the apartment wasn’t clean.
- No views to London at all. The apartment was in the basement of the building, so our views were to a white wall.
- Our apartment was dark. As mentioned, it was in the basement and there were only 4 spot lights (not very bright) in one side of the room, just over the dining table.

Yes, definitely

Zeer verouderde kamers die (optisch) erg vies zijn. Alles zit los, spullen zijn bij elkaar geraapt of kapot en de faciliteiten in de kamer beneden de maat. Kortom: hoog tijd voor een grondige renovatie. Tip: tapijt is wellicht niet het beste idee.
