The welcome at reception. How my son and I were upgraded from a double room to a twin room. Ease of early check out. The takeaway breakfast. The comfortable room/bed.

Cons:

That we didn't have time to try the food in the restaurant! Will definitely be back.

Pros:

Very central in the middle of town. Onsite parking. Big rooms. Good bar/restaurant on site

Hotel Newport is perfect for a break away,so central to lots of activities,staff & food excellent.

Except for the above everything else was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Staff were lovely. We did not eat breakfast at the property.

Cons:

The room was too hot. We had to leave the window open all the time, even all night every night. It really does need air conditioning. Also shower over bath is not ideal ... very dangerous as was very slippy and no bath mat provided.

A lovely hotel in a lovely town.
Pros:

The hotel is perfectly located and has a lovely restaurant and breakfast area. there are nice spaces to sit in the main entrance to read, to rest, etc. The room was very comfortable and bigger than expected, which was nice.

Cons:

I think we struggled a bit to get the room temperature right (but it was unseasonably warm, so I'm not sure there's much to be done on that). The breakfast was good -- I am always wishing for more fresh fruit than whole apples, though.
