Soddisfatta a metà
Pros:

La gentilezza del personale (una menzione speciale a Stefania!)
La posizione centralissima, vicino a tutto e comodissima per visitare la città a piedi
L'accappatoio in bagno, invece dei soliti scomodissimi teli
Il pavimento e il soffitto affrescato della suite
Il letto, finalmente veramente comodo (cosa ahimè non scontata)!

Cons:

Il balcone, che non si può definire tale, perché è utilizzabile come una finestra. Definire la stanza "suite con balcone" senza che ci sia un vero balcone, non è molto corretto. Bisognerebbe specificare che il balcone altro non è che una ringhiera, tipica di alcune case antiche, senza alcuno spazio esterno utilizzabile
La colazione non proprio "continentale", con poca roba salata (uova solo sode, nessun alimento caldo)
La sala colazione veramente piccola (la meravigliosa terrazza è utilizzabile solo se le condizioni climatiche lo permettono)
La doccia vecchia, con muffa sul piano doccia e con la metalleria arrugginita

L'esmorzar bé, la situació molt centrica. l'habitació molt bonicai silenciosa.El personal agradable i atent.

la explicació de com arribar-hi , perque poses el GPS et diu que ja has arribat i veus una façana totalment decadent i unaport gran totalment tancada

Stay in a palazzo in Catania!
Pros:

Perfectly located in the center of Catania, this palazzo with frescoed ceilings is a lovely place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, on the patio. Private parking on site.

Nach dem ersten, eher skeptischem Moment beim Zu- u. Eingang in das Hotel, war ich angenehm über das sehr nette Personal überrascht. Ganz kleines, aber gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit einer überaus freundlichen Bedienung. Tolle Lage im Zentrum.

Excellent location, near restaurants and the main shopping street, churches, piazzas, etc. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful, even trying to teach me Italian ;-)
There is a large terrace that if the weather was better, we could have enjoyed more, especially since there is a view of Mt. Etna on a clear day. Stefania provided us breakfast, coffee and tea throughout the week, very friendly and always remembered what we had.

Lovely stay, lovely building, friendly staff, excellent location, shame about the room.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff.

Cons:

My room felt like a section off the corridor. There was noise when people came in as the room did not have walls to the ceiling. It was the first time for me to stay in a "room" that was partitioned off a corridor and partition walls being thin and not reaching the ceiling so as to preserve the decorations. I felt like I stayed in a corridor. Not happy. Everything else was great but not happy about that and the noise drifting through from the open ceiling. It's beautiful old building but there should be a warning about that room that it's just sectioned off the corridor and there be noise when people are talking or walking by. It would have been OK to have that information when booking the room.

Good night in Catania
Pros:

We only stayed one night and left before breakfast. The hotel is centrally located with an excellent staff. It's a bit quaint, on the upper floors of a very old building, the corridors are tight and the access is by old style lifts. The room was large with a large en-suite but not to modern standards.

Cons:

Access is interesting, up from the ground in a small lift...

Pros:

alta qualità, molta varietà sia di dolce che di salato, e soprattutto la cordialità delle signorine addette al servizio, splendida terrazza (peccato per il tempo che ci ha permesso di usufruirne solo un giorno)

Comodità (l'Hotel si trova in un'ottima posizione), comfort, gentilezza. E colazione SUPER!
Pros:

Colazione fantastica, sia dolce che salata. Gentilezza, simpatia e cortesia di Stefania l'addetta alla colazione. Tutto perfetto.

Cons:

In bagno, la mensola di vetro accanto al lavandino era poco capiente ma soprattutto, inclinata, quindi se appoggiavi dei prodotti, anche piccoli, tendevano a cadere.

Alles war top.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und wir wurden liebevoll von Stephania betreut.
Am Empfang stand Massimo rund um die Uhr für uns zur Verfügung und hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt.
Für unseren Mietwagen stand im Innenhof ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung.
Einen besseren Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Altstadt und Ausflüge gibt es nicht. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.
