Regent Hotel

The staff were all friendly,inviting and hard working, the room was basic but perfect for us, comfy bed,was warm and adequate for our needs. The evening meal was lovely as was the breakfast and reasonably priced. If your one of those snobs who run fingers along skirting boards or delve into the various crevices in bathrooms then don't stay but if your like us ...enjoy a nice warm comfortable room, happy staff and excellent food then the regent is perfect for you. Definitely will stay again

To be fair the staff were friendly and the hotel was good, but I've been charged for a breakfast that i I didn't have or order, so i probably wouldn't use it again 👎

Staff polite and respectful checked if I need anything. Issue with drainage from bathroom basin but pleasant stay and would use again.

Dirty bathroom! And security man was asleep when I came downstairs in the morning around 7:30 and the door was wedged open.so anybody could of came in

Not the bestest sort I’ve stayed in when in the bathroom found a pill on the floor just some random pill don’t know who it was so obviously the room is not being clean.

The toilet is downstairs didn’t have any hand wash and toilet tissue just chucked all over the floor. Very limited parking, which is a nightmare to say the least.

A Fantastic family run hotel that's a stones throw away from the city centre.
Our family group stayed for the weekend of 16th March and had a wonderful time.
The Staff could not have been more helpful.
The Rooms were warm, comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was very tasty, diverse and set you up for the day.
The Bar/lounge area was comfortable and very friendly.
Free parking to the rear of the Hotel.

One night stay. Friendly staff. The room and corridors were a bit tired. Damp in the bathroom and peeling paint.
I slept well but but expected better quality for the price.

A comfortable stay overall. The room was a little tired and the room doors don’t keep sound out, which might be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. Service was very friendly. Food prices were shockingly high… £17.50 for a club sandwich is what I’d expect to pay at a 4-5* in London. The Salutation across the road is a much better choice for food. If you just need a comfy bed for the night then it’s still a decent choice.

We've been here for the last three Xmas eve shows. Great venue, pub and hotel. I'm a Beatles fan too and because the guys stayed here at the height of their touring days it makes it more special. Ask to see bedrooms 36/37 where the lads stayed and also all 4 signatures at check in . Great place and lovely people

The worst service by a completely uncaring staff I have ever experienced

Rooms were basic and somewhat presentable but tired and warn. Night porter was so rude. And everything was so expensive. Probably would look else where in future. I wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel was great, the breakfast brilliant, the TV in our room had very bad reception and was unwatchable unfortunately. The staff were all very pleasant.

Stayed over again to catch a local band. Excellent service and a really good breakfast. Recommend this hotel.

We stayed in room 42 - We had some very big problems with our room and were very unsatisfied. I was able to discuss the disappointment with staff, who listened and responded with kindness. Whilst things were not great, I have every confidence that the issues will be resolved. The staff were professional and resolved things for us so that we were satisfied with the outcome.
We ate in the restaurant the night before and the Thai food was great. The breakfast was also very good.
It was a stay of two halves for us - great food v poor accommodation.
I believe the more expensive rooms are supposed to be much better.

Supposed to be executive room but was noisy on a main road with a streetlight right outside the window. Wouldn’t have been as bad if they were blackout curtains!

Cracking hotel, lovely staff, great vibe, great location. Perfect for a races weekend.
Didn’t book the breakfast so can’t comment on food but everything else was 11 out of 10.

Excellent hotel in the ideal central location. The room was spacious and well furnished. The team were very friendly, and the lounge/bar was a real bonus. Great breakfast and parking were a bonus. We can certainly recommend it and will return.
