Staff were nice
Sticky carpet
The location is as central as it gets which is the best feature of this hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the free car park adds extra value for people arriving by car in such a central location. Bed was clean and with fresh linen. Overall ok for a couple of nights.
The whole building is visibly tired and in desperate need of renovation. Our room had fridge and cooking facilities but no pans, stoneware or cutlery (why?). The carpet in the corridors is visibly worn out and dirty. The corridors to reach the rooms at the back have not received draft/clean air in a long time and smelled bad, which is a bad first impression before you reach your room.
The location was good and very thankful for a public car park jist over the road. The room was ok and the bed comfortable.
The bathroom was very disappointing... very very tired and in need of work... no hooks anywhere either in the room or in the bathroom. Water pressure was awful. The is no literature in the room to check information re check in check out time, hotel facilties etc... Was not given the WiFi pass code and didn't want to have keep going down stairs everytime you need something.

Club at the base of the hotel with very loud music the base was making the hotel shake was going on till around 4am unable to sleep if I knew there was a nightclub at the hotel we would have never booked if I hadn’t had a couple of drinks with our meal in town I would have got in my car and left our night away from home was ruined! Such a shame

While little can be done about the location the car park is very tight
Bed was very confortable. Location was perfect for what we needed. The gentleman on the desk came across initially quite blunt however on chatting later on he was very pleasant.
Quite dated in the room. Shower seals were discoloured and a damp smell in the bathroom. A bird had got into the room through the window and bird poo was on the chair, table, mirror and carpet - add that it was dealt with and cleaned.
The location was great for what we needed and the room was a good size with a lovely view of Regent gardens.
We were woken up on the Sunday morning to exceptionally loud music and chanting of "praise the lord'! When we mentioned it the reception staff when checking out we were told it was a local church group and they didn't seem interested that it woke us up early on a Sunday morning away! This was not a good end to a nice stay. They should have at least started there loud music & chanting after 11am when guests have checked out. Unfortunately this will stop us staying there in the future. Which is a shame.

Nice and Tidy.
It was convenient for the purpose of my visit. The bed was comfortable. Near the main reason for being in Doncaster. Not too far from the station. The night porter was very helpful.
The room was very cold. The cost was far too high. The cost was way more than any of my friends who also stayed in the hotel. The coffee was not hot enough. The toaster was really not good, very slow and one of the other guests burned the toast accidentally as a result.
