We were sent away once arriving because they said they were NO LONGER A HOTEL. We were told it was now a HOMELESS SHELTER. It being a shelter now wasn't the problem, being told when we arrived was a shock to us. ●●●●□HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ●●●●
Hotel was horrible, parking was terrible if you could find any. Room smelled like disinfectant to try to cover up the smoking that must have gone on in the room at sometime. I gave away 3 tickets to one of the police officers for the game the next day, because no way we were staying another night. Aarp should consider offering this hotel, it reflects poorly on their reputation.
The hotel smelled from the hallways to the elevator. It was not an inviting environment. The location was not the best. Junkyard was the view that we had from our window. The hotel was over priced for the type of hotel. I do not recommend this hotel for family to stay in, location is not good at all.
Non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. Carpets were extremely dirty. Switch plate in bathroom was broken. Nearby area was dirty and seemed very unsafe. Hotel desk had bullet proof glass. I will not ever stay there again. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
TV didn't work, Air condition poor! Second time I stayed here, and last!
My apartment in the Bronx experienced a gas leak which left me homeless... I was able to get in on a early check in, and they allowed me to check out later! Service with a smile! Thank you Bronx Days Inn!
Very bad area of the Bronx. DO NOT stay here. Hotel is dirty, outdated, front desk is enclosed in bullet proof glass. Pictures of this hotel are fake, it looks nothing like this.
Great staff, very accommodating. Everyone was so helpful.
Staff was amazing, helped us out when our reservation had been cancelled, area wasn't that great, noise was horrible all night with loud people in hallways every night
I selected this hotel because it was near my family not too far but i will never again make that choice.
1- Check in was fine even though we came in at 1:00 am in the morning
2- Even though it clearly states no smoking; the place always smelled like marijuana smoking
3- One day the room was not made( bed not made or room cleaned)
4- One day there was no hot water for showers
5- The inside bolt/lock on my door was broken
6- The juice machine was always broken, not enough silverware. One day we even walked in the breakfast area to find the cleaning staff having their own breakfast while breakfast was not even provided for the customers.
7- Took pictures of the mold growing in the bathroom
8- On my last day...went to the lobby to report this as ran into the manager of the place and he was upset at the way the condition were for us and assured me he would take care of and refund me a partial payment for my stay which was for 5 full days but still waiting for any answer for that.
Even though it was a convenient place to stay for us but i would not stay there again and find somewhere else. I actually felt like this place was a shelter instead of a hotel.
Not the safest area, but expected that. It was walkable, but best in the daylight. Room was comfortable enough, rug really stained, toilet kept running (to tired to deal with it after playing in the city all day). Staff was very nice. Free parking was wonderful.
This hotel had the best rating of all I looked at to be near Yankee Stadium. They were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is a true Continental breakfast, but all I needed. Parking was good. There was a safe available in the closet. Wifi was very good.
An all-around good motel experience although the included breakfast was weak, with choices limited to cereals and breads, apples, and decent coffee. Still, staff is very helpful, the motel is secure, the room was really fine, you can walk to Yankee Stadium in 30 minutes or less. I would gladly stay there again. Supermarket, c-stores, McDonalds and other eating places within a short block, and all of the Bronx stretching beyond.
my experience was a good one you can park your car and drive any where you want to go like shopping mall, go to games, Historic Places, etc.
great hotel..quiet, free parking and breakfast and work out room. booked in the past and will book in the future. in my old neighborhood. surrounding area not the best but room serves its purpose.
Hotel was close to subways and great foods!!! Staff was amazing!!
upon checking in everything seemed okay. I am a non smoker and I smelled smoke as soon as I walked into the lobby. I asked about my room and the rooms next to mine and was assured they were non-smoking rooms. I smelled smoke the entire time I was awake. my eyes watered and burned until I went to sleep. the next morning for breakfast, there was no attendant present and there was hardly any food and the place was untidy. I'm sure during yankee season they are better, but I was not pleased with my stay.
Stayed one night less than 12th hours.
There were people on our floor being very loud in the middle of the night and staff did nothing about it.... We saw a couple that were clearly on drugs with a little girl outside the front door. Told staff and staff stated that they will call DCF. I understand you get what you pay for but this was not a great experience at all
Room was cleaned and better than expected
Very good conditions
The hotel lobby has severe smoke smell
We were to check out at 11 and we had a phone call from don't desk at 10am and st 11:02 to leave the room and receptionist was very rude about it but fascility looks good
