It was great to have a living room area, desk, and dry bar with a small refrigerator. A microwave would have been a great bonus on the counter area. The beds were very comfortable and housekeeping gave us plenty of towels. We actually stayed all week and the location was excellent between the Albany airport and Saratoga Springs, NY. Free breakfast and small bar/restaurant is also there as a bonus. There were plenty of restaurants and stores nearby when we needed something. There is also an Urgent Care across the street in case of an emergency. I would stay there again. Pet friendly.
The bathtub was small and a shower would have been better, due to the lack of space to get ready. Not much room for a dressing area. We had two queen beds and that took up a lot of space. Closet was small and awkward location. Good enough. The other issue was the dogs barking when people left their dogs in the room. I love dogs and have dogs, but some of the neighbors dogs would not stop barking and tried to snap at us. Hold on to your pet when there for safety.

1 Elevator was out of service and the other sounded like that was going to break down any minute. Rug was warn and torn by the elevator entrance.
Water was undrinkable unless you waited for 3-4 minutes till it clear.
Didn't have breakfast... only coffee. went out to a restaurant.

Not a single thing went well.
We did not get the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt. The hotel was overbooked and they did not have a room available. We were told that a room might be ready 1 hour after regular check in. When we went back to check in at that time, we were told the room was still not available. When we inquired if it may be another hour or three, the front desk staff did not have an answer.
We ended up requesting a refund (which was an option that was given to us). It has now been 3 days and we have not seen the refund yet. We will be contacting the hotel again to find out when we will be getting the $370 refunded.
The front desk associate was not helpful.

No USB charging ports for phone charging.
We have stayed at The Hyatt Place many times when visiting Saratoga for concerts or the racetrack. It’s our go, to place. Clean, comfortable and can’t beat the location.
They overbooked their rooms but still gave me a key to room 231. I walked into that room at 1am and there was already someone in there sleeping. Thankfully nothing happened in the extremely dangerous situation the hotel put us in. I went back to the desk and they apologized but then kicked me out because there were no rooms. I had to sleep in my rental car. They offered nothing to correct their mistake.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious.
Continental Breakfast was an added bonus. It was a great stay for our family.

It was convenient to the highway and to Saratoga Springs.
The hotel room had not been cleaned. The bed sheets were dirty, and we had to have them changed. The room was near the kitchen and smelled like food the whole time.

Internet did not work throughout the hotel and certainly didn't work in our room. The only shower curtain was on a tension rod and it did not fit so we had no shower curtain. The air conditioning blue cold air on us us that was so uncomfortable. We had to turn the air conditioning way up making the room uncomfortable. I'm a long-time Hyatt member and this was not a satisfactory stay. Left a night early.
