Good value for location
Pros:

The check in staff was friendly and the room was clean and spacious and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast was weak and lacked variety. Only white bread eggs were definitely a processed scrambled mix but the sausage and Belgian waffles were edible .

I stayed at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Athens, Georgia, from June 19, 2026, through June 22, 2026, in Room 305. During my stay, I found what appeared to be mold in the air conditioning vent and took photographs. I reported it to the front desk that evening. The employee told me he would work on a discount or refund and suggested I move rooms the next morning.

The following day, I showed the photos to the front desk employee on duty, but I felt my concerns were dismissed. When I asked for the General Manager's contact information, I was told I needed to speak with her directly.

When I later spoke with the General Manager, she stated that her housekeeper said it was only dust. I felt the conversation became defensive and unprofessional. I was simply trying to report a potential health concern and discuss the compensation that had been mentioned to me.

I have photos documenting the condition. I am requesting that the hotel investigate the issue, address any air-quality concerns, and honor the discount or refund that was offered when I first reported the problem.
