The rooms absolutely stink of smoke. In fact, the person before us left a note for housekeeping about it- and it was left in the room! We reserved two rooms for this stay, and the other room was not what we requested (2 beds). Front desk staff didn’t seem to mind our frustration. We will avoid this hotel in the future.
This was a perfect location for an overnight stay at the Tampa airport. Free shuttle from the airport and only a hop skip and jump away. Shuttle is 24/7 as well. The best part was the experience with the front desk staff. Michael, Ly and Rene went up and beyond to accommodate after I had an 8 hour delay and I was forced to get a hotel room. There is also a World of Beer restaurant in the parking lot.
Place is dirty Ac and elevator did not work . Front staff extremely rude and nobody cares.
Location
Staff was flaky
Staff and room comforts
Not a very walkable area
We and friends books rooms here for one night as we were going to the outdoor Stadium Series hockey game nearby at Raymond James (Go Bolts!!!) to not have to drive home. Nothing to do with the hotel but don't, after a game there all westbound roads are blocked off so we could have driven home quicker. We checked in early and when went to our room, turned out the main elevator by the lobby is broken down. So we got to walk to the complete opposite end of the hotel, take the only other elevator up, then walk back as our room was next to the broken down elevator. Got our steps in for sure. The room was plain but clean and some things just weren't good. No suitcase stands or dressers, just the couch. They have an ice machine (at the other end of the hotel, too) but there is no ice bucket in the room. It was in the low 30's outside but I think the unit in the room was just AC. It blew cold air no matter what we set it to and it was so noisy we had to turn it off to sleep. In some places in the hallway there were vent blowing freezing cold air right at you when you walked by. Bed was decent, very little counter space in the bathroom and why did you put the toilet paper roll basically under our armpit? Was told breakfast ended at 9:00 in the small lobby so we struggled to get there early. But at 10:00 they were still serving. Best part of the breakfast was microwave Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches sealed in paper. Coffee? Yuck! Not much parking near the hotel, we had to park in a nearby parking garage and hike. Slightly below average hotel, definitely not worth the $400 for one night, and we're disappointed in ourselves as there are better choices nearby.
Muy bien
Room SMALL…the TV kept shutting off (called guest services but they did not answer). Thin walls…can hear neighbors. Single beer in lobby was $10! Bring your own groceries!!
The shuttle is a nightmare!!! Our stay was great but the shuttle experience was a joke. We ended up calling Ubers. When the shuttle finally arrived, it was already full.
As a long-time Marriott Rewards member, I wanted to share feedback from a recent one-night stay. While the staff and cleanliness were excellent, the room layout itself was unusually impractical.
The TV placement made it difficult to watch comfortably unless lying in bed with one’s neck turned; the same issue existed from the mini couch. The desk area had no desk lamp and the shelving interfered with usability. We had to move a floor lamp from the corner just to have adequate light.
Lighting throughout the room felt inconsistent—there were no overhead lights, and the bedside lights were mismatched, with one mounted high on the wall and the other on the nightstand. The bathroom toilet was quite low, making it difficult for my husband to use, and a night light and exhaust fan would have been helpful.
There was no luggage rack. Instead, there were two newly built closets—one in the kitchenette and one in the bathroom—which did not seem practical for a short stay. As a result, we had to use the mini couch to hold our luggage. We did not use the kitchenette, but its layout also seemed oddly designed.
While we typically avoid first-floor rooms, it was acceptable for one night. I don’t usually like to submit negative feedback, but the room design was so unusual that I felt it was worth mentioning.
On a positive note, check-in was friendly and professional, breakfast was very good with a nice variety, and the room was very clean. Good loc for airport, shopping, medical etc. If we return to the area, we would either request a different room style or consider another property.
As far as location only one Restaurant is close-by and it's at the Hotel next door. However, I believe it's a short Uber away from shopping. I attempted to call the Front Desk on arrival to arrange the Shuttle. No less than 8 times the Reception answered and cut me off. UBER was $15.00US but the Shuttle would have been free. I decided best to say nothing and upon check-in, I was handed water, pretzels and chocolate chip cookies which put me in a better mood. The Room was tiny but bright and clean and really all one person needs. The huge plus is the pool which was absolutely huge for a small property. Breakfast won't wow you but it's free. Now be super super careful on Check-out. Room was prepaid with Expedia and still I came home to a charge from the entire stay. It took days to correct the situation but I still don't know why they double billed me. So it's close to the Airport, super nice but I'd never stay there again!
Nähe Flughafen
Eingangsbereich/ Aufenthaltsraum/ Frühstücksbereich. Sehr kalt eingerichtet und unbequem.
airport transfer
too noise
I liked the location.
I was on the ground floor so I can hear people walking and running around above me and the air conditioner was very loud.
