Breakfast is available at the property for all guests, served in either the breakfast lounge, guest bedrooms or the terrace; between 08:00-10:30.

Should you wish to cancel your reservation please ensure that you inform the hotel, at least 5 days prior to your check-in date; in order to receive a full refund. If your booking is canceled within the 5 day window, a one night charge is applied. Additionally, should you wish to shorten your stay, once checked-in, a charge of the following night's stay will be applied.

In the event of a shortened stay after check-in, a charge equivalent to one night's rate will apply. This fee is nonrefundable and will be assessed regardless of the remaining duration of the original reservation.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Ideal stay for a theatre visit, which was reason for our stay.
Pros:

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Bar stayed open late, until 1am, not closing g early like most zeastbourne hotels. Nice old fashioned hotel.

Cons:

No air conditioning, didn't have breakfast there because considered expensive at £40 for two.

Pros:

Excellent location, but disappointing cleanliness and poor value for money
Pros:

The location was excellent — the seafront is just across the road, and a good selection of restaurants and cafés is right around the corner. The bed was comfortably soft, and we also appreciated having a proper bathtub rather than just a shower, which can be surprisingly difficult to find.

Cons:

The hotel felt tired and in need of refurbishment. There was an unpleasant smell in both the corridors and the room, and the overall level of cleanliness was disappointing. The carpet, sofa, windows and curtains all appeared dirty and poorly maintained.
Considering the price we paid, the room did not reflect the standard or quality we expected. There was also no air conditioning, which made the stay less comfortable.

Lovely hotel.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay in your sea view balcony room. Maybe just a slight nit pick, the room might just need a lick of paint. Very clean & roomy, with 2 lovely balconies & fantastic views. Our room was very spacious & well equipped, big comfy bed, lovely big bathroom. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Thankyou.

A pleasant and welcoming stay
Pros:

The hotel inside and out was clean and well presented. The room was clean, well decorated and pleasant. The staff were welcoming, friendly and polite - able to answer all questions and queries.

Lovely hotel

The perfect gem of a hotel
Pros:

I travel a lot for business, spending many nights in hotels across the globe, rarely you find a hotel that captures your heart.

The Chatsworth did just that, not just for me but for the entire family.

We booked 3 nights, and saw the Hotel "just" as a base for our weekend plans and picked it for convenience more than the location or the Hotel itself.
We were so positively surprised that we ended up spending a lot of time in and around the hotel as it created the perfect welcome and atmosphere.

A warm welcome in a dreamy English seaside hotel, a spacious room for 3 with a view to die for and the seaside (with perfect weather) just across the road.

The life music piano evening turned into an unexpected blues night with fabulous musicians and great company by fellow hotel guests.

The hospitality was just great and my 14 year old son was clear, we need to come back soon!

The complimentary use of the paddle board made his weekend just perfect.

Overall one of the hotels we will never forget, we will come back to as soon as possible and 100% recommendation to anyone looking for a fabulous stay in Eastbourne.

Thanks to the entire Chatsworth staff.

Best weekend retreat ever
