The room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom seemed brand-new and in perfect shape. Liquid soaps and shampoo all from local Soap Company, high quality and very eco-friendly! Only downside was it's poorly soundproofed; you hear your neighbours talk (normal voice level) and their bathroom extractor fan rumble in the middle of the night whenever anyone visits the loo with lights on.
Once we found the place (it has several names over various GPS services and internet connections, it was very nice and the reception was jovial and welcoming.
We had a very nice stay. The area is quiet and has a really cozy vibe.
Room was newly renovated.
When we arrived to the hotel, there was no one there. The beds themselves were ok, but my friend found a dead spider in her bed. The room had quite a few cobwebs/spiders. There was also mold in the shower/bathroom. We were very glad to only have one night here. Best thing about the hotel is the proximity to other places.
Welcomed and from our arrival the experience was comforting. Tidy, clean room with comfortable beds and brand new bathrooms
Nice hotel but noisy..sounds like heating or water pipes and not the Scottish type. Did advice and said they cannot hear anything.. between 9pm and 10pm and 7.30 to 8 am .. loud in the room (18).
However, nice room and bathroom. Beds a bit soft. View comes with a camera on the opposite building that hopefully doesn't look in the room ?.
Good location for an overnight stay. Free carpark.
Restaurant not fancy but the pizza was good.
Great updated room, great shower and convenient location right on the road.
Thanks for a great stay
The hotel is adorable and in a prime location! Staff were friendly and checking in and out was convenient. My only low score is because the walls are super thin and depending on your neighbors you may hear more than you want. I softly knocked on the wall and my neighbors quieted down but I could still hear them, their conversation and their phone calls who were on speaker phone. Despite that, I would stay there again and just be prepared for potentially loud neighbors.
Clean with modern bathroom. Basic but what was expected from a small country hotel. Parking available across street. No lift so you carry your bags up stairs. Lovely location
The welcome was lovely our room was ready early so they managed to allow using early. Which was so appreciated . Donald the manager and the team cannot do enough for you. Kyle was excellent at the bar on our first two evenings and he sorted out our room TV in minutes, after I had managed to mess it up?
The food is very good particularly in the evening,we had the fish and chips on our last night . The house keeping is excellent very helpful staff and the rooms were lovely. It's a lovely village a perfect location to enjoy Loch Ness and we will be back . Thank You
Fantastic stay, room was very clean and cosy. Food was lovely. Location was great and very friendly staff.
Great location and newly reno rooms great staff
Nice property ,nice restaurant on site good food and decent drink prices.Tried local beer, very nice.good location, nice village near by and close to loch Ness (a 20/25 minute walk to loch )
The bed was hard, I could feel the springs from the mattress. The room was very small and dated but fine for 1 night. Breakfast at the restaurant was pretty good. I liked that I was able to park my car nearby my room.
Really great! We only stayed one night, but it was conviently close to the meeting place for the tour with Loch Ness Centre. The bed was comfortable enough and everything was clean. No complaints.
The staff were awesome and the room was perfect for 3 travelers. Shops were great. Would definitely recommend.
It worked for needing a place to sleep, but the mattress was in such poor condition, you were just sleeping on the boxspring and every sneeze, cough or trip to the bathroom the person next door made was crystal clear. The room was clean, and the WiFi was excellent.
Courteous person at check in and provided good information about the area around the hotel.
Also sent an email to ask if we would like to book dinner at the hotel.
Was a lovely place to stay
