Ramayana Candidasa Beach Resort

This is my first time staying in the Candidasa area, and I feel that I chose the right hotel for my first experience.
The staff are very friendly, the garden is beautiful, and the swimming pool with an ocean view is absolutely stunning 🌴
The breakfast menu is extensive and varied.

We stayed 11 nights here. Most comfortable bed we ever slept in! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Pool was clean with plenty of umbrella seating. Restaurant was excellent. Before we booked, I read a review that said to not include the breakfast buffet - that was terrible advice! Definitely would book with breakfast next time, there were many options and everything was delicious.
There is currently a construction project on the beach to stop erosion. There is some noise during the daytime, but we did not find it to be terribly intrusive. Safety zones are well set up and the crews work only daytime hours.
The spa was excellent as well. I took in a Lomi-Lomi massage and it was just what I needed to get out the post airplane kinks.
Would definitely go back to this resort. Also, it is well located for access to day trips to all the popular places.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, Candidasa is the place to go. Ramayana Candidasa is a wonderful choice for combining relaxation, beach time, and great food with excellent service.
The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is exceptional — very kind, caring, and attentive. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the service is truly very good.
They also have a beautiful spa center with highly skilled therapists. The view from the hotel’s pool is absolutely stunning.
In addition, the hotel has a large and beautifully maintained garden area, which makes the whole atmosphere even more special.

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at 'Gapu' restaurant for valentines day, the experience from start to finish was just magical.
We were seated overlooking the ocean, the staff were delightful and our three course meal was to die for.
We would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are very clean, air conditioning works great, staff are very friendly and their service is outstanding. Beautiful pool area and restaurant is also exceptional.

What a truly exceptional and memorable experience we both had, one we will never forget, the staff went above and beyond even remembering our names from day one Also saving our favorite table each night for dinner especially Dwai and Sally a big hands up to them we cant thankyou enough.
The suite was just amazing aswell very clean and very spacious.

Oceanfront hotel (not beachfront as there is no beach) with very nice rooms and lovely Balinese decor across the resort. Unfortunately there is not much nearby once you have eaten once or twice at the restaurant. Excellent value for money if you just wish to sit by the pool looking at the ocean.

We spent 8 nights there and its one of the best resorts we have stayed in Bali and even worldwide. Unbeatable beachfront location with a stunning pool and beautiful rooms and immaculate gardens that are very well kept by lots of staff every day.We stayed in the deluxe room and it was more than enough for us as we didn’t spend too much time in the room. I asked for a quiet room so it was absolutely perfect for that as the cottages are around the pool and probably much busier.

Restaurant is also amazing, although very expensive for Bali. Regardless we ate there most days because its right on the water, breakfast buffet is also huge and great.

Spa is one of the most beautiful spas in Bali also surrounded by Koi fish and huge rooms and amazing Balinese massage.

Only con is the shower pressure and temperature was really bad, had to wait for hot water 2-3 minutes and then it was scorching, it was hard to get the right temperature. Also no hair conditioner which is very unusual for a 4-5 star hotel, even cheap ones have it. Had to walk 20 minutes to buy a conditiner from a mini mart.

Location is a bit away from the main area so you can walk or take a scooter, no grab in Candidasa, just private drivers that charge quite a lot.

Definitely would stay there again! ❤️

Lovely hotel and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean and serviced every day which doesn’t happen in a lot of hotels and resorts. The restaurant is amazing and overlooks the ocean. Meals are good too. Well worth a visit!

Well what can I say, just perfect. We spent 7 nights in lovely luxury, well for us anyway. My first time to Bali at 55 years old and it was recommended as a quieter place to stay. We arrived at 3am in the morning and from the first interaction it was just perfect. Everyone was so nice and polite. Our room was a pool side villa. Lovely, comfortable, great position. Everything was spotless and very clean. We were just a 20 minute walk into the main part of Candidasa so easy to to get around. The reception helped us with all out tours. The onsite spa (massage) although more expensive than in town was just wonderful. The restaurant and pool service was great. Nothing was a problem.
Breakfast buffet was very adequate and set you up for the day.
The gardens are spectacular.
Overall perfect for my wife and I.

We stayed 7 nights here with my parents. All the employees from Ramayana are great. So polite, service minded, and helpful. Room service guys are sooo good and clean, my parents had a good stay in Bali, and it was their first time in Indonesia. Thank you.

My very first solo travel gave me much needed alone and quiet time! Food at the restaurant was good ; waiting time and serving size were just right.
Staff were courteous and cheerful and always had a bright smile. Restful. Recharged. Rejuvenated.

This hotel has seen better days. We were in a tired, dated room in the back of the hotel. Very basic.
The pool area was nice, but no beach at all. I could stay at any hotel and swim in a pool.
A bit of walk to town, so you are pretty much eating at the hotel, unless you taxi in.
Food at the restaurant was very average and expensive.

Nice but massive hotel ! Nice room but it could be a room anywhere in the world, your classic hotel room. Had to look outside to remind myself that I was in Bali.
Nice pool, nice garden, friendly and helpful staff, great food, although only had breakfast there.
The pool and restaurant were quite a distance from my room.
All in all, nice hotel if you like a conformist room.

The three days and four nights spent in this amazing resort were a story! Landscapes are detached as if from another world, with special flowers, with the inviting sound of the Indian Ocean, which fascinates you, with spacious and clean rooms, with kind and respectful staff, with fabulous massages and delicious cuisine!
