La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft. Pierce

Immediately after receiving my keys and tried to bring my luggage through the side door as it was more convenient, the key did not work, I asked for a new key after being told my key would work for that door, the woman who checked me in wouldn’t try to make new key said it was the sensor so there’s nothing she could do, she was annoyed by me wanting to have an easier time loading in my luggage and said I could just use the front door because she’d have to call maintenance about the door sensor, which never got fixed the entire stay, it also made walking my service animal less convenient, there were people smoking by pool, I took photos, this claims to be a non smoking property, the smell up was coming up to the room, the hallway smelled like weed, someone clearly smoked in our room before us and had a bag over smoke detector, this is a huge safety issue, I also took photos, why was this not noticed prior to our arrival if the room had been cleaned? The shade did not work and was sitting next to the broken window, the phone didn’t work, once we settled these things were noticed and I had to use my cell to all, I was placed on hold but then offered move rooms, supposedly the hotel was a full house though and that’s why the WiFi didn’t work, more inconvenience, I had to use all my hot spot data for the whole time to work, called twice about this with no resolve, offer to restart the router, which did not work, parking lot was full of trash and transient people sleeping in trucks, no security and huge raccoons because of trash, very unsafe especially for my service animal, tv did not work, would turn on but could not change channels or remove vision impaired commentary, when told to the staff the offer was to fix but our service dog is trained to alert when people come to the door and I do not want to correct him not to do that because of being in a hotel and his training, so not an option to have maintenance people come in, the room should’ve been ready before we arrived at 730pm on Friday and it was not, the
outlet did not work to charge our devices, no body wash at all so again the room room was not ready for us, we saw a sign for vending on the floor but there was not actually any, the room keys stopped working for rooms on Saturday after and got locked out, went to get new keys and told person who checked me in about my disappoint and hope for this to be rectified and her response was I saw your note and the manager is aware! Unacceptable!

Always a pleasure when staying here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and inviting!
Breakfast is great for the selections that they offer.
The pool area was clean as usual , it was too cold to get in this time.
Location is accessible from both I95 and the Turnpike

Checked in after 9pm staff was ok however there was an added extra charge that I did not expect but it was a really nice room

My wife and I probably stay at La Quinta Hotels more than any other hotel whenever we travel. They've always been super clean and well maintained.

Quiet and Clean. Staff was friendly, room was clean and ac was ice cold. Hot breakfast was good. Ice machine was broken but front desk had bags of ice available.

Be sure hair is cleaned up on bathroom floor from previous guest

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel! If I'm being picky... the pillows coupd be better. But again i would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great place. Professional and friendly staff, clean room with plenty of room and a quiet shower, and location is close to the highway. Highly recommend.
