Parking choice was awful. Trying to maneuver to get to front entrance was terrible. No guidance from valet staff.

Very Nice Experience
Pros:

Very nice hotel and perfectly located for the event we were there for. Easy check in and welcoming staff. The room and bathroom were very nice. The restaurant was OK but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Would definitely stay there again if in Raleigh.

Cons:

The pool was a huge disappointment. It was not heated as advertised. Also I was told that overnight parking cost $15/night but it was actually $24/night.

Raleigh Nice Place to Stay!
Pros:

Our family of three arrived for one night, on July 4th, as a pit stop on the way to Myrtle Beach. And this property proved to be a really nice find. The front-desk and valet staff were very friendly, the room was tastefully decorated with the pool deck being spacious and providing an excellent view of the skyline. This property is centrally located on Fayette Street with a cool bar across the street (Sir Walter) and some good dining options within walking distance.

Approximately 2-3 blocks up, there is a wonderful restaurant called "Flavor Hills". We had one of your best meals in recent memory. However, if you are not looking to go out, the hotel restaurant/bar (Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen), is a great option. I enjoyed watching the World Cup with some other guests at the bar and it proved to be a lot of fun. Overall, this is probably your best choice when visiting Raleigh. It is directly behind the convention center with easy access in and out of the city. We highly recommend it and would not hesitate to stay here again.
