Location was amazing for what we came for. The hotel is beautiful when you walk in. Maintenance man we met was very nice. The restaurant looked nice but we didn’t try it. Parking deck being attached to the hotel is wonderful.
They didn’t have my reservation. Changed my room type which was okay I guess. The pool was like a sauna and it was 90 degrees outside. Couldn’t swim. The rooms AC was broken and they couldn’t move our room so we were given box fans for the duration of our stay. The forced “incidental” fee just to force spending at the hotel is weird. Beds were kinda hard so didn’t get a great nights sleep.

I have stayed at the Raleigh Marriott probably 75 times but all pre-Covid. Found my way back finally for work and had a great experience as always - nothings changed here in all the right ways. Terrill and another Valet with a company called PMC was there to kindly welcome me - took quick care of getting me inside and just the best service. Room wasn’t ready but I was early - sat at the bar to grab lunch and Chris served me. Super nice - right amount of kind conversation and quick to help. Always great being here!
The hotel in itself was beautiful
I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but the valet team at the Marriott Raleigh truly earned one. Robert, Luc, and Gabe went above and beyond with their friendliness and professionalism from the moment we arrived for our Conference in April.
I have to give a special mention to Gabe - when I found out he's still in high school, I was genuinely blown away. He carried himself with more poise and professionalism than many seasoned adults I've encountered in hospitality. He was attentive, warm, hard-working and made us feel genuinely welcomed and safe.
All three of these young men are a huge asset to the valet team and honestly a credit to the Marriott Raleigh as a whole. They are exactly the kind of staff that turns a good stay into a great one.
Okay, where do I start? Southern Hospitality is Alive and Well!! From the moment we pulled up for Valet Parking: Terrill, Nathan A, and the guy that just moved to NC from Las Vegas; you guys made our stay seamless and treated us like Rock Stars!! From unloading our luggage, to bringing it up to our room after check-in, everything was stress/worry-free when it came to parking. No running out to feed meters just peace of mind. Kevin, our Concierge, you are the Best of the Best, seriously! Your warm Greeting for folks who have been traveling for well over 4+ hours was priceless. Simply Fantastic! He greeted us every time we stepped outside our hotel room, provided complimentary bottled water, gave us a thorough introduction to all the hotel amenities and left no stone unturned. Rye Restaurant…all I can say is: “Oh My!” The food is incredible!! We ordered Room Service and the (2) ladies that took care of us on Friday and Saturday for Room Service were stellar! I ordered the Fried Catfish w/Mac ‘n Cheese, and Collard Greens; Mom ordered BBQ Wings, Mac ‘n Cheese, and Collard Greens; and we shared the Appetizer-Shrimp and Crab Hush Puppies!! Tartar Sauce was delightful!! We were both in a sleep comma after finishing, my compliments to the Chef and his team. The rooms at this 4-Star hotel are impeccably clean, large, and offer every travel essential you’ll need. Last thing, the Breakfast Buffet… it was All You Can Eat and “ridiculously” tasty! While we were there over Graduation/Mother’s Day Weekend, they had a Shrimp and Grits Bar that was made-to-order WOW!!! Scrumptious food from start to finish! Looking forward to my next visit, oh yeah, the Starbucks “inside” the hotel was not only convenient but, awesome too! A Special shout-out to the Manager of this property!! You are destroying your competitor’s, and your Guest will be nothing short of elated at the Quality of Service and Attention to Detail that shines as your hotel!! Thank you, for an unforgettable stay!!!
