I see why the Microtel parking lot was empty when the Hampton Inn was full.
Cons:

Undisclosed pet fee of $75 PER NIGHT (3 pets) - adding $300 to what we expected to pay. So I cancelled the entire stay and walked out. Over to the Hampton Inn which offered a reasonable pet fee.

Pros:

The only thing I liked about this property was its location. Buffalo Wild wings is right outside its door shopping across the street. But other than that it was not safe. There were no front desk clerk most afternoons and there was no front desk assistant in the evenings so people can just walk into the property,go upstairs and roam freely.

Me and my 2 furbabies had a great stay and we will be back!
Pros:

I love that I can travel with my 2 small dogs and the pet fee was not ridiculously high. The room was very clean and comfortable. I live in a mobile home 20 minutes from the hotel and we were expecting bad storms, no storm shelter will allow me to bring my dogs there and I can't just leave them behind for my safety. I went there for the night with my dogs and it was worth the cost to know we were safe for the night. I usually stay home and ride out the storm but now that I know I can bring them there we will be back again when the weather is bad. I also board my dogs when I go on vacation but from now on I will be checking to see if there is a pet friendly hotel so I can bring them. I hate leaving them behind. Thank you for giving us a safe place to stay!
