Everything about the hotel was good. My only criticism is the indoor swimming pool was overlooked by the seating in the bar.
The indoor swimming pool needs to be less visible and people using it should have changing facilities within the pool area and not be able to walk through as though it was perfectly natural. I know the argument about beaches etc.

Just the outside seating area
Looks better in the pictures but doesn’t look good in reality .Rooms are outdated .Had an issue with the cleaning liquid smell in the bathroom that affected us all night .It smelt of strong chlorine .Called the evening shift staff in and he agreed and noticed the extractor fan wasn’t working .Asked to please move us to a different room, but none was available .He said he will get someone to look at it but that never happened .Night shift manager Came in and he didn’t know anything about it .On checking out I’ve spoken to reception and she said that a manger will email me .It’s gone over a month now and no one called me .Booking.com has contacted the property but no one is responding to them .The breakfast was also very dry and limited .Over all very bad and tiring stay .
Very close to the beach and chime, had a lovely pool very nice communal area food was very good, staff and service excellent.
There was anything I could find I did not like except the parking was quite expensive, we were very lucky to have private parking on the chime. Parking is charged at £15 per day but if you are staying a few days it soon adds up.
Everything
Nothing
Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. The location is great, it’s easy to get around, with the beach within walking distance. The reception and restaurant areas are really nice and well presented, and dinner was lovely.
The room was clean but felt a little dated compared to the rest of the hotel and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. There was an option to upgrade to newly renovated deluxe rooms for an additional fee which may be worth considering. Breakfast was ok and offered a buffet selection including pastries. We were unable to book extras like the spa treatments or afternoon tea as we were told these get booked up months in advance, so may be worth booking ahead of the time if you’re interested in these.
Room not how it looked in photos on here, very dated
The spa was small, but open decent hours. The staff in spa could teach rest of hotel staff about customer service they were excellent.
The only negative comment is they need more treatment rooms and staff even though I booked weeks before I was unable to get an appointment.
Location good for transport to town Sandbanks or Poole.Bus stop round corner.
At least twice overcharged for drinks by quite a large amount.
Excellent hotel for families.
The rooms especially bathroom flooring wasold and not jointed correctly causing issues when you walked on it. The shower pressure was so bad we went to spa changing rooms to shower. We were in room 39 which is front facing , it must be under a family room as the noise pressure 7am and then all day was horrendous with children running dropping shouting i complained to hotel twice -pointless.
Restaurant menu _ Limited and bland for dinners and quite expensive for what is was. Breakfast at Easter Weekend a full capacity hotel, 1 4 slice toaster for all guests!!! Huge queue for toaster.
Not great cooked breakfast buffet but good continental option.
Good location. Good staff and excellent food
Some children there not looked after by parents at times
Very nice and clean
Alles sehr solide.
breakfast was excellent.
Dinner in the evening was poor due to the lack of staff hence long delays to be served.. Also, when i booked i read that parking was on site but nothing i read to state a cost of £15.00 would be charged for the parking.... The spa was also over the top at £15 per person with a steam room not working....
Not a lot really
Rooms are dated. Noises from all angles - funky smell. Spa was dirty pool/ gym was weird with locals watching in
I have been staying in your hotels for many years and have always had a clear understanding of the high standards you maintain. However, during this recent stay in a Premier Plus room, I was disappointed with the level of service provided.
The room was not up to the expected standard upon arrival. The shower holder was broken, which meant we had to hold the shower by hand. Additionally, the handwash bottle was empty. Although I informed reception and later raised this with the room service staff, the issue was not addressed promptly.
I was particularly concerned by the attitude of the cleaning staff member. She appeared dismissive and unhelpful, indicating that she would decide when the room would be cleaned and whether it required cleaning at all. When she returned later, she spoke in a rude manner, stating that she would not clean the room while my family was present.
This level of service and behaviour is not in line with the standards I have come to expect from your hotels. I have never encountered such an experience during any of my previous stays, and I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately
