A star for the staff, a star for the location and a star for the happy hour. Minus the stars for the strong stench of the hotel. Staff was attentive and kind. Room was a great size and hotel is centrally located. Wonderful walkability but there’s a possible dead rat or rats or something rotting hidden in the walls or poor sewage smell. Especially strong in this main and first floor. Every time we entered or left the smell was horrendous. It was especially strong the morning we left that we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat breakfast. I used the elliptical in the gym and something was wrong with it and it needs to get fixed. The treadmill and stationary bike worked perfectly. The happy hour was a nice touch but I could never stay there again with the stench.

Very Nice staff and great location

Excellent staff and best service out of any of our stays in Italy. The hotel has an amazing location right next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and walking distance to all major attractions.

We stayed at Vecchio suites for 3 nights in mid-June, B&B. From the pre-arrival check in email to us getting in the taxi to go to the train station (with water, fresh coffee and sweets), we couldn’t have been treated any better.

Every member of staff we came across was so friendly, welcoming, professional and NICE!! We could not fault any of them - and their English was superb. Puts the English to shame really 🤔….. (yes I’m English).

Our suite was fantastic - large in size, the comfiest bed and pillows, one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen for a long time, great shower, toiletries, lots of storage for clothes/belongings. Because we booked directly we also got daily complementary water, fruit juice, soft drinks. Krupps coffee machine. Two big tvs, desk, sofa.

We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked very nice. Continental and hot products. We just don’t really do breakfast! We did have the complimentary Prosecco and snacks one evening and they were very good. I don’t really like Prosecco but it was of very good quality, as were the little snacks.

Reception recommended a special steak restaurant for our last night - Ristorante Dei Rossi. Outstanding.

We literally loved this hotel - fantastic location, extremely clean, peaceful (yet right in the centre of the city), tasteful, modern and the best staff who clearly love what they do. So pleased we found it - and got the last free room. So don’t delay booking - it is a hidden jewel!

My husband and I have stayed here a few times, and we are always very happy with the property... from the wonderful staff, to the facilities, comfort, breakfast and location!
