I went to front desk several times and no one was there. When I checked out I went to office to get reciept. No one thete. I left note asking them to email receipt To me.
The room was tidy and met our needs.
The parking lot needs repair and our TV needed repair. No bottled water or milk available.
Location was good
Breakfast, they were out of stuff every morning.
Location to Manitou and Garden of the Gods was great. Lots to do nearby the property
Beds were freshly made but covered in hair. Screws/nails sticking out of TV stand were sharp and very hazardous. Office closed at 4pm when check in was at 3pm. Huge gap under door let in noise, smells, and weather
Room was nice.
The kiosk check in was horrible. I was kept waiting 30 minutes. Could not understand the clerk.
check-in was by kiosk, I don't think they knew the property, I was told to leave fob on the desk, there was no desk. Several guests were running around looking for info on breakfast, info was printed on small receipt, I just happened to notice it. Breakfast was in different unrelated building, and wasn't good. $100 damage deposit, refunded after room inspection, I've never heard of that. Room was fairly clean but switch in bathroom was broken.
Breakfast was great. Bed was good.
Using the kiosk for a 6pm check in. Feel like someone should been there until 8pm.
The rep on the system is al says available. It was a video system. I don’t know where he was sitting but someone was always there.
The breakfast was okay but limited.
Location
Asked for towels twice and didn’t get any
Definitely nothing fancy but very clean and very large room. If you want space to spread out this place is perfect. We also had a dog with us and our room had vinyl plank type flooring which was fantastic. Incredibly close to Garden of the Gods. Again nothing fancy or romantic particularly but if you're bringing kids or animals this place is perfect!
Mostly pleasant overall. Attentive staff, good breakfast, nice swimming pool. Hubby wanted to take the shower stall home.
Upstairs. No vending machines. The one ice machine was upstairs in the other building. Stairs are hard for old people. Hate the bare floor trend.
We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. It was just ok. The biggest downside was the lack of cleanliness. The beds seemed ok but some of the towels had stains and one even had a clump of hair stuck to it. The floors were dirty and had the occasional pill bug (roly poly?) or spider scurrying across. I was standing in the kitchenette and something caught my eye from under one of the beds. I looked and saw a lanyard, a water bottle and an old sock under the beds near the wall where there is a wide gap between the wall and the bed platform. Speaking of the bed platforms, they are metal and can make a bit of a racket. It could hear the occupants in the room above us roll over in the middle of the night.
Kitchenette: Seems new and looked clean. It comes with empty cabinets, a cooktop, sink, microwave and an apartment-sized fridge. No plates, pans, cutlery, paper towels, nor dishwashing liquid. Nothing. You can borrow pans for cooking at the office, but I get the feeling no one uses them as they were dusty when brought out to us.
Housekeeping: none. There is a sign in the bathroom that says for longer stays, housekeeping will come on the third day (never happened) or you can call the office to request service. We tried to get new towels and they never came. So after two days we had to go to the office to get clean towels. Despite the room being big enough for four people, there were no bath towel racks. And speaking of the bathroom, there is an odd opening along the ceiling that opens directly into the kitchenette. The toilet is in a separate little room, thank goodness.
Office: The man working the desk (sorry, didn't get his name) was very nice. But often there was no one in the office. There is a shelf with housekeeping items on it, so when we ran out of items such as toilet paper, we just helped ourselves since it appeared we were on our own.
Breakfast room: Was adequate and the attendant kept the room very clean. Items offered: yogurt, toast, bagels, waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, cereal, potatoes, coffee, tea, juice.
Overall, I will try a different hotel next time.
Room was clean and appeared recently remodeled. The parking lot had some trees for shade.
The TV had 2 different remotes and they were confusing to use.
This is a fairly dingy motel that has had a Quality Inn badge slapped on it. It was pretty cheap and the location was great, but the place is run down, there are lots of people living at the hotel so there is garbage, grills, and people coming and going all day and night. The room itself had been renovated with LVP, but the sink was busted and gurgled up debris and it seemed like there was only 1 employee working the whole hotel. Thankfully we only needed 1 night or I would have left and booked someplace else.
Ok
Okay
Breakfast & staff are fantastic. Best location and value for money.
Could be more cleaner.
Location
Not cleaned, floor incredibly dirty, homeless sleeping in abandoned vehicles and sneaking into rooms as being cleaned. Homes sleeping in stairwell as well as urinating in stairwell. Everytime i went to or called front desk no one was there.
