We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. It was just ok. The biggest downside was the lack of cleanliness. The beds seemed ok but some of the towels had stains and one even had a clump of hair stuck to it. The floors were dirty and had the occasional pill bug (roly poly?) or spider scurrying across. I was standing in the kitchenette and something caught my eye from under one of the beds. I looked and saw a lanyard, a water bottle and an old sock under the beds near the wall where there is a wide gap between the wall and the bed platform. Speaking of the bed platforms, they are metal and can make a bit of a racket. It could hear the occupants in the room above us roll over in the middle of the night.
Kitchenette: Seems new and looked clean. It comes with empty cabinets, a cooktop, sink, microwave and an apartment-sized fridge. No plates, pans, cutlery, paper towels, nor dishwashing liquid. Nothing. You can borrow pans for cooking at the office, but I get the feeling no one uses them as they were dusty when brought out to us.
Housekeeping: none. There is a sign in the bathroom that says for longer stays, housekeeping will come on the third day (never happened) or you can call the office to request service. We tried to get new towels and they never came. So after two days we had to go to the office to get clean towels. Despite the room being big enough for four people, there were no bath towel racks. And speaking of the bathroom, there is an odd opening along the ceiling that opens directly into the kitchenette. The toilet is in a separate little room, thank goodness.
Office: The man working the desk (sorry, didn't get his name) was very nice. But often there was no one in the office. There is a shelf with housekeeping items on it, so when we ran out of items such as toilet paper, we just helped ourselves since it appeared we were on our own.
Breakfast room: Was adequate and the attendant kept the room very clean. Items offered: yogurt, toast, bagels, waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, cereal, potatoes, coffee, tea, juice.
Overall, I will try a different hotel next time.
Room was clean and appeared recently remodeled. The parking lot had some trees for shade.
The TV had 2 different remotes and they were confusing to use.
This is a fairly dingy motel that has had a Quality Inn badge slapped on it. It was pretty cheap and the location was great, but the place is run down, there are lots of people living at the hotel so there is garbage, grills, and people coming and going all day and night. The room itself had been renovated with LVP, but the sink was busted and gurgled up debris and it seemed like there was only 1 employee working the whole hotel. Thankfully we only needed 1 night or I would have left and booked someplace else.
Ok
Okay
Breakfast & staff are fantastic. Best location and value for money.
Could be more cleaner.
Location
Not cleaned, floor incredibly dirty, homeless sleeping in abandoned vehicles and sneaking into rooms as being cleaned. Homes sleeping in stairwell as well as urinating in stairwell. Everytime i went to or called front desk no one was there.
The guy (didn’t remember name) at breakfast was wonderful. Very helpful, making sure everything was good for us. He made up for the room being not so clean.
The location was perfect. Big rooms.
Fridge did not work. Pool was dirty even with 2 cleaning systems in it. Breakfast was barely edible. Only someone was at the desk was when we arrived.
Beautiful location.
Looked like the place had been abandoned. Large dumpster out front, wrapped up pallets in front of office. Office air conditioners was dripping on counter.
Just stayed the night
Great breakfast
GO ELSEWHERE!
Daughter smelled pee on our bed. GROSS!!
Horrible smell in room!
Housekeeping never came after requesting two times
Key fob would not open the door the last two days
Blinds broke during our stay
Trash left outside in common areas for days
No water stations
Offered stale popcorn at lobby
Kids were jumping on the bed at 4pm, and the neighbor banged on the floor. Kids weren’t that loud - led me to believe it’s a long term tenant.
The location
Rooms were not very clean, no toilet paper had to go ask twice
Goede locatie en mooie uitvalsbasis Pikes Peak en Garden of the Gods.
Ruime kamer en goed ontbijt.
Gehorige kamers.
Shower was hot with good pressure giving a great shower.
Location was within a few miles
The bathroom floor was very dirty. Spilled some water on the floor right after we got into the room. Used a washcloth to wipe up. It was so dirty it was black. No way it had been mopped.
Bathroom handle didn't latch.
Couldn't have bathroom light on and vent on at the same time. If you turned on vent, light turned off.
AC vent dirty, looked like never cleaned.
Door didn't want to open. Had to use shoulder to force door open to get into the room.
Security lock broken.
Breakfast was not worth going to eat.
The bed was comfortable
The room was dirty, the new room they gave us was also dirty, the phones didn’t work and they didn’t actually give us the 1 hour late check out they told us we could get. They tried to let themselves in without even knocking
The pool looked nice and the bed was comfortable. The fridge was nice having too.
There was sticky pop on the floor. It smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere I walked. It was hard blocking the light coming through the sides of the curtain.
