Overall a very good experience. There were not any sheets, pillows, or covers for the pull out couch bed, as well as only 2 towels in the bathroom, but we went to the front desk and they gave them to us right away. The waitress at the restaurant on Sunday morning(3/22/2026), was great as well!!!
Staff was phenomenal, Food at Sapphires was excellent. Great experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The parking garage is very tight.
I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jefferson City on Feb 7 and decided to use the parking garage. Unfortunately, the parking garage experience turned into a major disappointment and left me with costly damage to my vehicle.
While parked in the garage, my car was damaged by concrete drippings (likely calcium/leaching from water seepage in the ceiling). This is a known structural issue in older parking structures, but what made it worse was the hotel’s complete lack of response. When I reported the incident immediately to front desk staff and then to management, no one showed any interest in inspecting the spot, blocking it off to prevent further incidents, or addressing the ongoing hazard. I was essentially told that the hotel has no liability, it’s “not their problem,” and guests park at their own risk.
The General Manager brushed off the complaint entirely, offering no apology, no offer to document the damage, and no steps to fix or mitigate the dripping concrete. This dismissive attitude was particularly frustrating, as it suggests a disregard for guest safety and property.
The parking garage itself is already challenging due to its circular design and tight spaces (as noted in many other reviews), but the failure to maintain basic structural integrity and respond to reported hazards takes it to another level.
On a positive note, the hotel’s location near the Capitol is convenient, and the warm cookie at check-in is always a nice touch. However, these small perks don’t outweigh the risk of vehicle damage and poor handling of legitimate concerns.
I strongly advise future guests to avoid the on-site parking garage if possible Opt for street or alternative parking instead. If you must use it, inspect your vehicle carefully upon return and be prepared for potential issues with no support from management.
Would not recommend the parking facility / 1 out of 5 for this aspect of the stay.
It was very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi was very relaxing.
The ac vent in the bedroom did not run at all.
Loved our dining experience at the Saphire’s restaurant tonight. Chef Gene came personally to greet us at our table and bring us warm bread and butter. The food of was very delicious and we did not have to wait long for it. Our server Cory was amazing also. He refilled our drinks multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. My daughter and I shared a meal and he even divided it for us onto separate plates! Very pleased! I definitely recommend!!
We arrived having booked one of the most expensive/largest suites for an extended stay. Upon our arrival, we immediately needed to put perishable items in our fridge. It wasn’t working. Before even unpacking one suitcase, we had to contact the front desk to get a maintenance man to our room to check out our fridge. The condenser, on the fridge, was frozen solid….so, we were assured that after turning it “off” and lowering the temp, it should work. If not, we were supposed to wait 24 hours to see if they needed to replace it. Not ideal, at all, since we travel with a large cooler and smaller coolers for our road trips. So, my husband went to locate an ice maker. Guess what? There are NOT ice makers on each floor. In fact, it seems like there are only 2 or possibly 3 working ice machines available to guests in the whole hotel! So, now….what should’ve been an easy “check in” to a long day has been made worse. We went to shower…no shampoo in our shower. We went to blow our noses and had to share the last Kleenex in the box. I had called ahead to make sure the hotel hot tub was working…they assured me that it was working. We went to use it….the “jets” were broken. We collapsed into bed hoping our fridge would be working the next day. It wasn’t…we had to call again, and they had to replace it. ALL of this, while waiting for our room coffee pot to work. It ended up only being able to brew a half cup of coffee. The fine print on website offers are misleading and “bait and switch”. Ironically, when I spoke to the manager about issues, one of the responses that I got was that this was a FULL service hotel!
HUH…could’ve fooled me! A wise person once said, “You only get one chance to make a good impression.” This was our FIRST Doubletree Hotel experience. What type of impression do you think THIS hotel made on us?…..EXACTLY!
we like the service. The staff is wonderful and friendly. they was very Respectful. The room was clean. Love the breakfast staff.
The pool and spa was not working.
I love the location. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic.
Dusty table lamp. Toilet seat kept moving and needed to be tightened. Room looked used and really needed touchups.
I was on a solo road trip in July 2025 and spent a Sunday afternoon/evening in Jefferson City while I was on my way home from a longer-distance trip I was taking. I had decided to spend that night at this DoubleTree because it was in a great location in town... and because it was a Hilton property which I generally gravitate to on my travels. Overall, it was a great choice.
I arrived mid afternoon on Sunday. The check-in process went smoothly, and my room (#1203) was clean and comfortable. My room had a nice view of the city, and I appreciated how quiet the room was (honestly, I don't thin there were many guests at the hotel that night... so that helped).
During my stay, I was able to take advantage of a couple of the amenities... the hot tub (part of the pool area) and the bar on the top floor of the hotel that offered amazing views of the city... plus a nice sunset! (The bar was very quiet and calm that evening.)
Overall, I really liked this hotel. The atmosphere was great, and overall I'd say it was a decent value for what I paid. I would gladly stay at this DoubleTree again if I ever find myself needing lodging in Jefferson City in the future.
