Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. Even the cleaning ladies that we passed in the hallway said "Good morning" to us. The room was clean and spacious. The Hampton Inn & Suites was centrally located, which fit our plans well.

Bad Customer Service
Pros:

This hotel has demonstrated terrible customer service, I was a repeat customer who has visited multiple times a year and over the years past. They double charged me multiple reservations when I only attempted to extend my stay. There was no notification or call, they said the second stay counted as a no show even though I was on property. They never called me or anything and wouldn’t reverse the charges when I called to find out why I had two charges, not even for a loyal customer. I am very disappointed, I will not return and cannot recommend.

Clean and great location but definitely lacking in customer service.
Pros:

First I will say it was in a beautiful area, until they put another hotel directly in front of it. It is very quiet and breakfast was nice. Cookies were a nice touch also. But, the young man who checked us in was not at all friendly, did not offer any info about hotel, did not even give us the water, until we went back to request it. He did offer it to man in front of us. We did not know that they didn't always clean the rooms. When my husband went down to see why they didn't , the girl said they had 50 checkouts to take care of and they might not get to us. I guess we didn't matter, even after paying $200 a night! After we went out for evening, they did finally clean room. The staff never spoke to us as we went by either. It was a very disappointing way to spend our 60th anniversary, which we mentioned too. We feel it is time to find another hotel when we return to Pinetop.

We went on a four day Arizona trip. This location and hotel was the best of those days.
