Outstanding manager of the hotel. Great room, great breakfast and excellent location. Highly, highly recommend.
The staff was friendly and very helpful in all matters. We needed to do laundry and they helped us locate a laundromat within walking distance. They also made recommendations for dinning options that were easily accessible. We were very pleased with our stay overall
Nicely situated in old city. Trams and subway close by. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. Restaurants in square a little pricy but lots to choose from, so shop around and go off square for better options.
Reasonable price for a location in the middle of the markets, through which many tourist places can be reached as well
Hotel was good for a city break. How ever the room serving the buffet breakfast was a little small for the number of hotel guests. The buffet breakfast was basic nothing outstanding.
A functional and well located hotel. Breakfast is well stocked and lots of options. Provided well
For gluten free and dairy free. It’s superbly located if you want a central area. No noise at night. If you want views or a kettle in your room (is a coffee machine) avoid.
Friendly staff and great location
Fantastic stay. Would recommend!
Great location, superior staff clean comfortable room. We also enjoyed a wondrtful breakfast.
I had a great stay at the Promenade City Hotel, in lovely Budapest. Hotel is centrally located on a key shopping street (Vací). If you are sensitive to noise however, some of the rooms are facing the hallway rather than the exterior, meaning that you hear people in the hallway in the morning.
Location.Location.Location. When choosing a hotel, its location has great weight. And in this case, the location outweighs everything. Right on Vaci Otse Street. Close to everything, which completely changes the tempo of the entire trip. Add to that a wonderful staff. Cozy and clean rooms. Good breakfast and we have a perfect hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed the service and the hotel. We would love to come back....
Had a great stay with my friend, prime location.
Would definitely recommend.
Great hotel in great location in the city centre. Breakfast choices limited to continental breakfast. Would recommend.
Wonderful hotel minutes from Danube and river cruises.
The room on the sixth floor has very large, sloping windows that let in a lot of sunlight, making it very hot.
Location is good. The room is just ok.
Accessible to all sightseeing places. Hotel staff very friendly. I recommend to stay at this hotel.
The location is great, from the airport shuttle bus stop to hotel around 10 mins walk.
Also walk within 10 mins to Metro and Elizabeth bridge.
Bed and Breakfast is great.
We really enjoyed our stay here, it had a great location with many restaurants and shops nearby and room was pretty quiet from outside noise which is what i was worried about beforehand due to location. Staff was very friendly and helpful, particulary sonja, the room itself was a decent size and the air con worked well which was needed as it was surprisingly hot for April, disappointed there was no kettle though, so i could not have tea, there was a percolator with two coffee pods, if we required anymore then there was a charge. There was a decent amount of power points in the room, though no usb ones though. Breakfast was kind of standard, no cereal, however there was enough pastries, fruit, sliced meat and my wife particularly enjoyed the bacon there, though try to get to breakfast early as its quite busy between 9-10am and we had to wait a short while for a table to become available as there was only approx 10-12 tables. Overall we really enjoyed it here, would go again if we could swap the percolator for a kettle.
Great location with close access to tram lines, rail, and historic sites of the city
