O local necessita de modernização e manutenção. é uma pena que um lugar tão bonito esteja mal cuidado. Quarto bastante ruidoso, ar condicionado não estava funcionando e tivemos que deixar a janela aberta durante a noite trazendo insetos e deixando a noite bem desconfortável

Estou acostumado a ficar no Hotel palácio do Bussaco (mais de 10 vezes) e pela primeira vez levei amigos para a Curia. Foi bom, pena que o SPA e a piscina estavam fechados (isso não deve acontecer). Grato

the property was beautiful to stay. Lots of old features from a different era.
The issue I had with the property was the mould in the bathroom.

El hotel siendo tan bonito como siempre, pero hemos observado carencias en un hotel de esta categoría.
Ninguna flexibilidad para cambiar el menú y pedir una simple tortilla francesa. Falta de personal y poco cualificado en la recepción y en el bar. En el desayuno muy bien el personal. Muy llamativo el último día, pedí un vaso de agua en el instante en el que salía del hotel y comenzaba el viaje de regreso. Estaban dos recepcionistas y me contestaron que no podían dármelo porque el bar no lo abrían hasta las 3, bar que está a menos de 5 metros. En el SPa el agua está fría y no funciona casi nada. El wifi no funcionaba apenas en las habitaciones. Es una pena que un hotel tan bonito y en el que hemos estado varias veces tenga estás deficiencias.

O primeiro quarto que nos foi atribuído tinha fungos na banheira. Prontamente sugeriram atribuir um novo quarto. O segundo quarto tinha cabelos no chão, o espelho sujo e a mobília com pó. Tentámos pedir uma bebida no bar, aguardámos 20 min e não apareceu ninguém para nos servir. O hotel é lindíssimo e os funcionários da recepção são simpáticos e acessíveis. No entanto, a manutenção do hotel é a limpeza deixam a desejar, o que é bastante lamentável quando nos apercebemos de todo o potencial da estadia. O pequeno almoço é bom mas inalterado, pelo que se ficar uma semana, irá ser servido com o mesmo todos os dias.

The hotel was just stunning! Like stepping into a Fitzgerald novel. The staff was so helpful, kind and friendly. Made great recommendations and helped booked reservations. I had an emergency and had to leave early but will definitely go back. Loved the old hotel and the lovely staff!

A não repetir e irei fazer uma reclamação. Falta de cuidado nas instalações do Hotel. Sem Spa e sem piscina, comando da televisão sem trabalhar, agua quase sempre fria, torneiras partidas, pedimos uma refeição ligeira passados 20 minutos fomos informados que nao tinham pao. Um casamento a decorrer no Hotel com muita confusão e barulho.
Vou fazer uma reclamação no Hotels.com porque paguei e não usufruimos de nada.

This is property was apparently a "hot spot" in the 1920's, but that era is long gone. It's a huge property with very few guests, which immediately gave me a "Bates Motel" vibe. Although the word "spa" is in the name, it has no spa services to speak of. They had a huge dining room, where you'd see possibly four couples in total. BEST part about the place was its wonderful breakfast buffet.

If you're looking to explore a hotel out of yesteryear, this is the place!

Amazing facility with beautiful architecture and history. Loved the music in the dinning hall. Front desk was super helpful with places to go and eat. Wish we knew more about it and the town before we arrived.

Liked the old world charm of this hotel. Staff were very attentive, good breakfast. However, Expedia advertises this hotel as Curia Palace Hotel, Spa and Golf. This is erroneous, the golf facility has been closed for 8 years!!!
We had brought our clubs for nothing and were very disappointed.
Golfers beware!

Um lugar que faz viajarmos no tempo.
Funcionarios simpáticos, bom pequeno almoço e quartos com camas e almofadas super confortáveis.

Flott hotell med noe slitt bassengområdet men virkelig flott og kjempe hyggelig personale. Litt lite restauranter og butikker i nærheten men for avslappibg å hygge er det absolutt å anbetale.

O hotel é um edifício antigo, de grande beleza arquitetonica. Quartos confortáveis e espaçosos. A piscina exterior é que deixa muito a desejar, a precisar de intervenção (água suja, com verdete e muitos insectos mortos).

Receptionist with glasses wasn’t to friendly. Didn’t accommodate my needs and gave me a hard time frequently. It was like she was doing me a favor by me staying in that hotel.

Grounds not maintained

We had a lovely time, so much history. We walked the grounds and couldn’t believe how vast the property was. So many interesting things like miniature horses, mule deer, pheasants and a few chickens. Amazing!!
We were a little disappointed that the pools weren’t open.
