Great location. Well appointed rooms. Can be loud
Pros:

The rooms are spacious and with a great loft vibe. Communal spaces are interesting and welcoming. Bar and restaurant were great

Cons:

Sound carries between rooms which meant we heard a very intense and loud argument from our neighbor with his partner for a couple of hours late at night.

It was a unique stay that was close to things we enjoyed.
Pros:

I loved the ambiance of the hotel and its industrial feel. The lobby area was very cozy and warm.

Cons:

The $44 for valet parking!
Also the carpet in the room was not pulled tight so there was lumps all over it. Could be a tripping hazard for some.
Happy hour wasn't really happy hour so be careful!

Great hotel for the downtown Milwaukee area, just far away enough to be it's own scene.
Pros:

A very cool and stylish hotel, with comfortable beds, and great bar area (free pool table!) and excellent breakfast. Easy walking distance to the downtown area.

Iron horse has always been my favorite hotel in Milwaukee. The room was tired - mismatched lightbulbs, old lighting fixture, very worn bathroom vanity, carpet that needed replacing, a cheap bed side table. The hotel hasn’t been updated since it opened. Staff that seemed less than professional in appearance and etiquette. Extremely disappointed, can’t say I ever need to go back.

I loved it and I plan on staying there again.
Pros:

Breakfast - excellent -
Dinner- excellent
location - perfect for attending a convention at the Baird center
Beautiful decor - both in my room and the hotel.
Great view of Milwaukee from my 4th floor room. The room had been beautifully cleaned. Both valets I talked to were very friendly , welcoming, helpful with information.

Decent stay
Pros:

Was in town for Adepticon 2026. We’ve stayed here previously and thought to come back since we had an amazing time before. Front desk staff was great. It was great to see Tammy again and she remembered who we were! Food has changed a bit *not in a good way* and the building seems to be having some issues? Really bad smell over the course of the stay. Our room was cleaned well above what we expected so thank you to the housekeeping staff for doing such a great job. Overall a decent stay compared to the previous. Special thanks to Tammy, Yeni, Shy and the valet team for being so courteous. Housekeeping staff maintains the rooms very very well!
