Pros:

Excellent food, i meanreally really good.only here 3 night but would have loved to work my way through the menu. And breakfast is top notch.Very helpful, polite and attentive staff. Cosy feel, plenty of parking. Breakfast WiFi

Cons:

Bit off the beaten path re town. But for some that might be a good point. Doesn't take away from the good points

A lovely find for a peaceful night away
Pros:

Situated away from the roads, the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. We were made welcome and well informed of breakfast times and directions to our room. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom, shower over bath and a few complementary bottles for washing.

Cons:

The door handle to the bathroom was extremely squeeky - quite old fashioned and disturbing. There was signs of a water leak by the window and the bathroom floor on inspection, could have had a little more attention. Breakfast wasn't great, despite the rave reviews - we had a full english and salmon and poached egg. Only asked for non dairy on request - no provision automatically set out.

Nice quirky hotel with staff that l reqonise from previous visits, would definitely stay again
Pros:

Very nice hotel and staff were very friendly

Cons:

I think they need more staff at breakfast, one girl was checking in diners, taking orders, clearing breakfast places, and considering she was on her own doing a fantastic job!

Lovely staff, quirky setting and excellent breakfast in this highly recommended hotel.
Pros:

This is terrific place to stay! The staff are unfailingly delightful and do everything they can to make your stay a good one. On arrival the receptionist was efficient and helpful. She asked us about our day each time we returned. The young man who served breakfast was so pleasant. In the evening the Bar staff opened up a small dining room so we could play Scrabble!
The breakfast was of excellent quality with many locally sourced foods. Good coffee too.
There was ample parking. The approach to the hotel offered views of fields - great for guests with dogs.
our room was huge, very clean and provided all we needed. Sunny terraces to sit outside.
We very much liked that we could get to National Trust houses and the Coast after relatively short drives.

Cons:

The room decor is traditional rather than 'modern' but this did not worry us.
