Hotel itself is as you would expect clean tidy and presentable, the food however is dire, slow cooked lamb with pasty consisted of a Cornish pasty( apparently out of a packet) some slices of Sundays lamb roast left overs ( on Thursday) and a couple of tablespoons of what appeared to be frozen mixed veg. Followed by a desert of apple pie with a biscuit like base and a jug with a tablespoon of custard in the bottom. Don’t bother walk to the pub in the village.
Fantastic property. Could not fault a thing. Special mention to the exceptional staff. Everything a hotel should be.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Good breakfast which we enjoyed in the beautiful landscaped garden.
Nothing!
The girls at the bar and breakfast were absolutely brilliant.
When we arrived the receptionist was very rude but the lady in the morning when we checked out was lovely and polite.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely setting. Comfortable room.
Lovely rooms and breakfast was amazing
Loved everything
The surroundings and decor were very nice.
No Air Conditioning only a fan...not adequate
Beautiful hotel - rooms & beds very comfy
Denise and most of the staff were helpful, professional and caring. Always my 1st choice when visiting family in the area .
This year I was let down by the reception lady who I think is the new reception manager ?
Did report to the manager at the time.
She was Extremely rude.
Verbally Challenged me in a condescending manor.
I had an extra room agreed the previous night by the even manager due to bereavement. Refused to allow us entry & we had paid and also room was made up ready.
Never been addressed so sharply in my time at this lovely hotel. Uncomfortably had to allow us int he room & never apologised.
I stayed here with my choir (60+ people) when we travelled to Wales to compete in Llangollen Eisteddfod. The hotel itself is stunning and well-kept, and the garden-like setting is breathtaking. But most importantly, the way we were treated during our stay left us very impressed and grateful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, and we felt like family. Every meal was delicious, and all dietary restrictions for our large group were carefully considered and accommodated. Highly recommend!
Spacious rooms, lovely atmosphere, good food
No aircon in the bedrooms and the fan provided just blew the warm air around
Rossett Hall was a quiet, charming property, was conveniently located, and provided all the necessities. The staff were outstanding - kind, helpful, and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure our group stay was comfortable. If ever I have the chance, I’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend!
I stayed at Rossett Hall for five nights. Our group was participating in a choral competition in a nearby town. Our stay there was outstanding. The grounds and gardens are delightful and the food terrific (everything was beautifully presented, piping hot, and perfectly cooked.) Certainly not easy when you’re catering to a group as large as ours.
Possibly the most outstanding thing was the staff and their attention to detail for all of our needs. They were so accommodating when our plans changed and certainly went above and beyond for us.
This hotel is a true gem
We had the pleasure of staying at Rossett Hall Hotel for almost a week, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds that make it a wonderful place to relax. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, and every meal we had was fantastic.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the staff. We were travelling with a large group, and they went above and beyond every single day to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. More than once, they anticipated what we needed and had it ready before we even had to ask. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel so well looked after throughout our stay.
We genuinely looked forward to coming back to the hotel each day and would have happily stayed longer if we could. Thank you to everyone at Rossett Hall Hotel for making our time in Wales so memorable. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone visiting the area.
I stayed at Rossett Hall for 6 nights while in Wales for a choral competition. We were a group of about 70. The hotel is located near a quiet town in Northern Wales. The rooms were comfortable and clean, meals were delicious and the staff made us all feel like family. At the end of many busy days, it was a joy to return to Rossett Hall. Whether you are travelling alone or with a group, you will not be disappointed with your stay.

I like where it is. I like the room layout. The reception staff were helpful. There was a decent choice of continental items and fruit at breakfast.
There is no Aircon and there was supposed to be a fanin the room but there wasn't. There was no hotel information or Brasserie menu in the room. The room was boiling and I couldn't sleep. There was no one to show me to a table at breakfast and no breakfast menus on the tables. I just sat at a table and helped myself. I stayed here just over 18 months ago and felt it was much better. There seemed to be a decent choice of continental items and fruit, the sausages, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes were good but the bacon was very overcooked and tough to eat. All in all I don't think I'd stay again because of these points.
