We had a very comfortable stay and a nice and extensive breakfast choices. At the time of our stay, various rooms were being set up for a wedding fayre and from what we saw, including the well landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces, this would be a great place for those events.
This was a last minute booking as we were unexpectedly unable to stay with our friends living in Rossett. We were a little shocked by the price for a two-night stay in the area but it seems the price was on par with other nearby accommodations in and around Chester, including Travelodge and Holiday Inn. Rossett itself is a good location to the P&R into Chester, but the services stop relatively early (last bus back to the car park around shortly after 5pm) so if you wish to stay out (and have a few drinks) in town, taxis will be the only way.

Breakfast was a little bit cold
The feeling we got straight away was excellent and we both knew if was right hotel to book. Check in was quick and easy. Lady on Saturday was so polite with us. Room was ready for us. Met 2ladies finishing off our room. IT WAS SPOTLESS. Excellent. We were going to a wedding down road so we went out straight away. When we got back later in night, night porter was on duty and getting extra coffees for room no problem at all. Breakfast on Sunday morning was excellent. Great choices available. I just couldn't fault hotel. Staff 1st class and hotel itself was excellent.

The fact that sadly we could only stay for one night
Beautiful building with gorgeous gardens.
Finding Oscar’s Bistro going through the hotel felt like a bit of a rabbit-warren.
Beds are very comfy and the room is well laid out with all required appliances. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Shower over bath is too powerful and difficult to control temperature - leading to water all over the bathroom floor. The bathmat provided did not stick well to the bath, due to the narrow shape of the bath and created a slip hazard. Light in hallway didn't work and in general lighting was too dim. Cooked breakfast is left under hot lamps and bacon etc is dried out and waited at least half an hour for scrambled egg to be made. It would be better if the cooked breakfast was cooked to order and table service provided.
I don't normally post reviews, however I couldn't fault Rossett Hall at all!!
Evening was excellent from comfy clean bed & powerful shower to friendly helpful staff and wonderful setting in the village.
Will definitely be using this hotel and chain again.

Las habitaciones eran modernas y cómodas. Tiene buen aparcamiento. El desayuno es variado y rico. El trato del personal muy atento. El sitio es precioso, tanto el propio hotel como los alrededores.
No tiene ascensor pero la planta baja está adaptada. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta si tienen movilidad reducida para pedir una habitación de la planta baja.

I had done my research and phoned in advance to ensure it was suitable for someone with limited mobility and reasured. As dad walks with a walking aid and unable to use steps however when we got there we were told my parents had been placed on the first floor and there was no lift!!! Disapointing as this booking had been done over the phone with the hotel to ensure suitable. The reception ist however switched them to ground floor which was great but no walk in shower so dad unable to shower 😞. Then we were told that we had to walk all the way round the outdoors for breakfast in the Oscar room, due to a meeting, this was very far for my dad and his back was hurting by the time we returned!! All was good however for me and my husband it was just a bit difficult for mum and dad. We had 2 rooms.
