The place has no security, the parking its outside the hotel just next to the highway and the is no one at the front desk after 7pm and they never answer the phone…horrible experience

The front desk never answers the phone, the property is not well maintained and anyone can walk in with no restriction, it can be dangerous.
I do not recommend this place.

We stayed at The Halfway Inn for one night, and overall, it was a convenient and adequate stopover. The hotel is true to what other reviews describe; definitely old and outdated, but clean and quiet, which was really all we needed for a night’s rest.

The room itself was a pleasant surprise: very spacious and spotlessly clean. It had a mini-split for climate control and a small TV with limited channels. However, there were some missing basics; no phone to call the front desk, no refrigerator, and the curtains couldn’t be opened. Still, for a single night, it served its purpose.

The biggest downside was the customer service. The staff at check-in were extremely rude and unwelcoming, which set a poor tone right from the start. The lobby felt neglected (especially the window seals and the outdated bathroom), and the on-site restaurant/bar seemed understaffed with only one person handling everything.

One plus: the location is very quiet and right next to the military base, which may be convenient for some travelers.

In summary, if you’re just looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep for a night and don’t mind dated facilities or indifferent service, The Inn gets the job done. Just don’t expect much more than that.

There's is mold in all rooms, she send me to a different room and it also had mold ,she said all rooms are the same,so I ask to refund my money and cancel my reservation.

Staff was so friendly! We arrived after a long drive from California and check in was quick and warm. English Friendly!

We loved the "old world flair" of this property - it is about 50 years old, but is very charming... the uneven wooden floor as you walk from the entrance to the reception desk and beyond.... the HUGE reception/dining/bar area with high ceilings and artistic adornments throughout. VERY large rooms with A/C, tv, WiFi and small refrigerator. The rooms are positioned around a central exterior courtyard that is filled with flora, stepping stones and shells around the trees - just delightful! A small table & chair is located outside each room so that you can sit and gaze around the courtyard. The dining area has very large glass windows if you prefer to sit INSIDE, and gaze out - delightful stay, with very responsive staff.

Always a comfortable stay at the Halfway Inn. Everyone is so nice, parking is very safe and convenient and the rooms are clean and nice. Highly recommend!
