Nothing. The place was filthy
The smell, the beds, the comforter, the dirt and filth in the room, the dead bugs in my night stand, the spilled sticky drink all in my night stand
Friendly staff, comfortable beds, room seemed clean.
Small maintenance issues such as: the room had peeling wallpaper and something was wrong with the door lock because you had to literally slam the room door to get it to latch closed. Also the pool kinda smelled bad and the breakfast omelets were cold despite being in a food warmer.
The beds were very comfortable
I didn't like that the do not disturb sign was on the door and 5 mins before check out they knocked on the door and I said we would be out in a few mins and less than a min later they knocked again I was extremely angry about that I usually leave a tip but didn't for this reason
I am writing this review to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at your hotel. We traveled from about an hour away to attend a cheer competition, and chose your location specifically because it was conveniently located less than five minutes from the high school. While the exterior of the property initially seemed promising, our experience quickly deteriorated upon arrival.
Upon entering the hotel, we were immediately met with an overwhelming odor of harsh cleaning supplies, combined with the loud and chaotic noise coming from the pool area. The manager showed us the pool, which was already overcrowded and clearly above the posted maximum capacity. I had informed him that my son has autism and that access to a safe, manageable pool environment was a key reason we chose your hotel. Given the conditions, we had no choice but to avoid the pool entirely.
Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there. The elevator and hallways had a strong odor of urine, which raised immediate concerns about cleanliness and overall maintenance.
Breakfast the following morning was equally disappointing. The area was extremely overcrowded, clearly unable to accommodate the volume of guests during the cheer event weekend. The food quality was unacceptable—my omelette was ice cold and still frozen in the middle, rendering it inedible. The waffle station was so backed up that we could not reasonably wait, and the sausage did not appear or taste like real meat. Due to this experience, we chose to skip breakfast entirely the following day.
Later that evening, we attempted once again to use the pool, only to find the same unsafe conditions. The posted capacity was 15, yet at one point I counted 21 individuals in the pool area. There was aggressive and unsafe behavior, including older children roughhousing around smaller children while parents looked on. Cheer stunts were being performed in and around the shallow end, with children being thrown dangerously close to the pool’s edge. I also observed an individual consuming what appeared to be alcohol in a red solo cup. Despite bringing these concerns to the manager—again—I was met with a dismissive response. I was told to send photos and that he would “show them,” but no action was taken. Even after showing the person how extremely unsafe it was and that someone could end up severely injured or worse. Please see photos of pool rules clearly showing maximum capacity, camera pointing at the pool etc. we were told they simply could not pay attention to the pool at all times and basically oh well. So we chose to once again not enjoy our time as paying guests
That night, the environment became even more disruptive. There was excessive noise, including running through the halls and repeated knocking on doors until at least midnight. We ultimately decided to check out early the next morning. To make matters worse, the entire floor smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarettes, poorly masked with perfume, despite being filled with children and families. When I raised this concern at the front desk, I was simply told, “Thanks for staying,” with no acknowledgment or effort to address the issue.
I also attempted to escalate these concerns through Hotels.com, only to be told that I needed to continue addressing them directly with the hotel. Additionally, I was informed that your property does not issue refunds, leaving me with no recourse despite the numerous safety, sanitation, and service failures.
I travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels, including other Comfort Inn locations, which I have generally had positive experiences with. However, this stay was unacceptable on multiple levels—safety, cleanliness, food quality, and customer service—and has left me extremely disappointed.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to make immediate and necessary improvements. No guest should have to endure these conditions, especially when traveling with children.
Horrible cockroaches coming out of bathroom walls and pool had algae in it overall 1 star
Turned down bed. Big red stain in sheet on side
We were exhausted and crawled in other side
Showed manager the next day.Later that day another 50 dollar charge for damaged towels
Said we stained them
Stay away from this place

room was comfortable. staff promised the cable would be fixed.
cable was not fixed so we had no television. We were not able to be updated on news or weather, or just relax and watch TV. Kept promising the cable tech would come but they never did.
Dirty comforter - blood and food remnants on blanket that was turned down and we didn't notice until the next morning - so gross!
shotty heater/airconditioner - woke up at 2 am dying of heat, then 5 am freezing to death, would not regulate
lack of sustenance - went down for coffee, there was yogurt, back down in 30 minutes, none left and no replacements made - we were a large group for a sporting event - poor and lack of choices for breakfast
Staff banging on the door at midnight because they double booked the room. Staff.was.rude.
