The hotel is lovely very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bar is reasonably priced for food and the spa is great especially the hot tub that is actually warm unlike some hotels.

It was very clean and always people around at all times to help and be there if you had any questions. Really nice location felt safe and not far away from London main sty
Firstly, I would like to say the staff are rude. Secondly, when taking my children to the toilet, I noticed that the toilet doors are see through. Because of this I had to wait outside and not let anyone in because you could clearly see through the toilet doors. Anyone who thinks this is acceptable needs help. I’m appalled that the hotel thinks that this is acceptable.

As a long term gym member here, I have been driven to write this negative comment given the abysmal temporary changing / shower rooms men are expected to change and shower in. Bit like a one star hostel! See the attached pics.
Apparently nothing can be done by manager of gym as all major decisions take by head office. It is so frustrating that the only option is to freeze the membership until work is completed; likely to take more than 2 -4 months based on previous record. Nothing / very little has been taken into consideration on the quality and service for men re the above mentioned. Unbelievable and shocking degree of apathy by Head Office decision makers!

My experience is only relating to the gym they are carrying out necessary improvements to the male and female changing rooms
So they have closed the womens rooms and moved them to the male changing room
The men have been given temporary facilities that are absolutely awful
Lockers that can’t hold a gym back showers with plastic doors that fall off lack of shower wash nowhere to hang a towel allowing women to enter the men’s section to fill up their water bottles lack of toilets and certainly insufficient for the amount of male members
And when they have finished with the women’s lockers they will start on the men’s which means that the guys will have to endure this sub par facility for at least two months
They have offered no compensation and when you talk to the staff they say it’s head office who decide

Nice facilities and rooms.
Extra charges added on all the time, for swimming pool and spa even though you had paid to stay at the hotel. As well as parking charges.
It was good as a venue for the event we went to
The lack of staff presence and the lack of little extras you would normally get a room they make a difference
Everything about the village hotel was excellent
