Amazing stay!
Pros:

Loved the property. Being a devout catholic, I loved th church located on the premise. Loved the courtyard area! Room was very comfortable. Overall the hotel was stunning and staff were all so friendly. Location was superb.

Très bel hôtel avec un cadre magnifique et un emplacement idéal. Nous avons Cependant, deux points mériteraient d’être améliorés. Tout d’abord, j’avais organisé un surclassement de chambre en surprise et j’avais pris contact avec l’hôtel en amont pour cela. Malheureusement, au moment de notre arrivée, le monsieur à la réception a mentionné directement le surclassement ainsi que le montant que j’avais payé en supplément, ce qui a complètement gâché la surprise. La même situation s’est reproduite au moment du départ : lorsque l’on nous a demandé de régler la taxe de séjour, le surclassement et son prix ont à nouveau été évoqués. Cela manquait clairement de discrétion, surtout au vu du prix du séjour.

Deuxième point : au moment de régler la note finale, nous pensions simplement payer les petits-déjeuners, la taxe de séjour ainsi que le pourboire proposé en supplément de 7,50 €. Finalement, on nous a annoncé 50 € supplémentaires correspondant à 5 % par nuit du montant total de la chambre pour le service de l’hôtel. Cette information n’était pas claire pour nous et nous pensions qu’avec un séjour à plus de 1400€ pour 4 nuits, ce service était déjà inclus dans le tarif.

Hormis ces deux points, tout était parfait et nous avons tout de même passé un excellent séjour.

Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Donna Camilla Savelli. The location is Trastevere was perfect for us - we walked almost everywhere and loved all the food and drink options in the neighborhood. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, but the real standout was the staff, who were extraordinarily kind, friendly, and helpful. I'd unabashedly recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome.

A Trastevere Treasure
Pros:

A little-known gem in the heart of Trastevere, Donna Camilla Savelli is an absolute delight. Our room was lovely and bright, with all of the amenities one would expect of a luxury hotel. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which was served in the former refectory of the converted convent. Drinks and other meals, particularly at Contempo, were equally sublime. Last, but certainly not least, the staff were courteous and helpful, even when we were merely passing through the hallways on our way out. We can’t wait to return!
