Highly recommend
Pros:

Vittorio and Matteo were extremely helpful. Exceptional service. Great meals in the restaurant. Breakfast was satisfying and a great value. Luggage storage was very convenient. Locational so close to train station made it easy to go sightseeing in Venezia Free airport shuttle was very much appreciated

Other than train, there weren’t many other amenities close by

THE BREAKFAST COULD BE BETTER, COFFEE NOT SO GOOD AND EGGS NOT ENOUGH CHOICES, HOTELS HAS TO GIVE GUESTS THE TYPE OF EGGS THEY WANT, SCRUMBLED AND BOILED ONLY IS NOT ENOUGH, I LIKE SUNNY SIDE EGGS AND SOMETIMES I LIKE ALSO OMLETS! BUT MOST OF THE HOTELS ARE IGNORING THIS IMPORTANT THING AND I STARTED TO BOOK WITHOUT BREAKFAST BECAUSE I AM MOSTLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF COFFEE AND EGGS IN MOST OF THE HOTELS I VISIT AND I DO MORE THAN 30 HOTELS PER YEAR THAT IS A LOT

The place is clean, modern in the lobby, and updated enough in the spacious family room we had. Breakfast is good and staff generally very courteous and kind.

Cons:

The person on the staff overnight seemed irritated that we arrived so late. I could see that he tried to be as courteous and kind as he could through his annoyance, but he also wanted us clearly to know that we had done wrong by arriving that late. I've never before experienced an employee at a major hotel chain who was annoyed that a traveler arrived at an odd time. In my experience, it's a given that people arrive at the hotel at odd times, and the welcome that I've received at hotels no matter what time we arrived has always been part of why we chose a hotel like this instead of one of the endless small hotels in Italy, to receive a comforting and non-judgmental welcome after our uncomfortable journeys. No one wants to be driving on the road at two o'clock in the morning with two little kids, one who is sick, and a dog - do we have to be made to feel bad about it too? It colors my feeling about our entire stay here.
