Great place to stay, will definitely be back
Pros:

Great location and very easy walk to the beach and shops. Loved the heated outdoor spa.

Cons:

It would be nice if they re-opened the cafe for breakfast rather than having to walk into town for breakfast.

Perfect & peaceful
Pros:

I often stay at the Wyndham Resort Torquay. During my many visits, I've stayed in various apartments, in different areas of the resort. On this particular occasion the apartment was overlooking Deep Creek. I found it to be spacious, very clean & comfortable & I loved the large sized balcony, it was very peaceful with a beautiful view of the trees & also the ocean from a certain angle. The beds & pillows were amazing. The resort itself is right across the road from the beach & only a short walk to the town centre. The staff are always very friendly, professional & helpful.

A short break
Pros:

Close to township,the pool area is very nice.
The rooms are pleasant to look at. Big T.V.

Cons:

The bed had a very thick plush mattress topper, which would have been ok except the bed sagged, so it felt like you were rolling out of a hole. The pillows were very thick and not comfortable at all. We asked at reception and were told there was no alternative pillowsonly to be told on check out that they had thinner pillows available. 😳

Lovely place, clean and modern in a great location.
Pros:

We like the location close to the beach and the place was very clean and tidy. The staff were pleasant and there was undercover parking.

Cons:

We have stayed before and we fortunate enough to use the outdoor heated spa. Unfortunately on this second occasion it wasn’t available (getting fixed) which was very disappointing as we had been especially looking forward to it.

For the price, there must be a better option
Pros:

there is no restaurant, or breakfast. odd for the size of the place.

Cons:

I don't know what the go is with the up-sell they have going on for the time-shear rubbish they are trying to flog. I said no!!! stop asking. I do not want to sit there and have you talk at me for 90 min about some crap I don't want... STOP asking... OMG.
And we stayed in the middle of winter and there was almost no one there. but we can't get into the room 10min early. What a joke
