We stayed 3 nights at this Hilton Hotel in Feb 2026. The neighborhood was great with shops, restaurants and nightly activity
The Banyan staff were remarkable led by Anitte and Anthonia. Rooms were modern and spotless
This is a gem of a hotel and all the staff were great.
Good location in the centre and comfortable, spacious rooms. Also really neat and tidy.
At 4 AM the garbage collection in the street started, afterwards the cleaning of the streets. So you are awake from that time. Not the fault of the hotel but a room given out on the street (first floor) is not the best option here.
Booked a wheelchair accessible room with roll in shower. Shower did not have any safety bars or a chair making impossible for a disabled to use it. We went down stairs to the front desk to ask for a room that met basics for ADA just to find out that there isn't a room in the hotel that meets the minimum requirements. No shower or tub with safe bars. We had to look for another place to stay. Lady at the front desk reverse the charge for the room but did not help with anything else. After going up and down the room, asking for the car to the valet parking and put our bags in the car again it was almost 7 pm. Late to find a room anywhere else. BTW the guy from the valet never offered to even help with the bags or anything. Totally unkind and not helpful at all. I chat with a Hilton representative and the only response I had was that she was going to let the manager know my complain. Shame on Hilton to have a hotel that doesn't meet the ADA criteria and advertise in it's page a room as accesible when is clearly Not true.
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is extremely clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. There’s lots to do in the surrounding area great restaurants, and shops..
Charlene at the rooftop bar was amazing! She is Friendly, outgoing, and super helpful! We had cold beer and a great view! It would be worth your time to come and visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was reluctant to leave a poor review but I think it’s important for other potential customers. This was our first time staying at The Banyan, we previously stayed at the Luminary, which is excellent. It’s a cool hotel and a great location. At first things went well, friendly and seemingly professional staff at reception. Room was very nice. When we woke up the next morning we discovered there was no water, not just in our room but throughout the hotel. There was no communication from management and I literally had to go down to the lobby to eventually find someone from the hotel. They had no idea about the maintenance that was going on in their hotel and could not give me an ETA for when the water would be turned back on. After waiting an hour, we decided to leave, without being able to use the shower, sink or even the toilet!
No one contacted me after we left, and it took me 4 calls to reach someone at the hotel. They offered me 8,000 Hilton points as compensation, yet the room we stayed in costs 160,000 points a night. I felt insulted. So eventually I called Hilton honors directly and they agreed to offering me 150,000 points, but no money back. To make matters worse, on top of the $424 I spent to stay that night, another $100 was charged to my credit after we left without any explanation. I’ve tried contacting them again, but after 3 days trying gave up and called my credit card company. Hopefully I’ll get that erroneous charge back. What a nightmare!
Bed was comfortable and staff were nice
Shower was bad and it was really difficult to find
Great location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our room and bathroom were incredibly spacious and there was a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view.
The lobby area was more like a pass through for people walking from one street to the next. Coffee and tea were only available in the morning. Breakfast was an extra charge. The bottom sheet on our bed was too small and pulled out constantly.
STAFF
Breakfast was adequate
not sure
We had a 1 night stay to enjoy NYE in downtown Fort Myers. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from out balcony. The roon itself was a good size and I loved the shower. The staff was excellent.
