Good location. Check in process was quick
Looked at several hotels in the area ultimately decided on this hotel in particular for the standup shower in the double queen room as well as the large back lit vanity mirror on the bathroom. So I booked a standard double queen room through booking.com
After we get into our room we see they assigned us a handicap room. Which had a roll in shower. Not what I paid for or booked. Went back to lobby to let them know the room we were give was not what we booked. Showed her our reservation which clearly showed not a handicap room. Front desk tried to tell me that was the room type booking.com sent over. Then told me they had no other rooms to give us as they were sold out.
Took the room as we had an 8am game the next morning and were an hour and 45 min from home. Very unhappy i call Booking.com
They explain they 100% sent over the correct room type but hotel was denying it tho they wouldn’t show proof. It seems clear they just assigned us to a handicap room despite what we booked and then lied saying it was bookings fault. But it wasn’t.
THEN as I’m drying my hair after my shower, I see a ROACH crawling across the back of the bathroom door. 🤢 absolutely disgusting.
Mattress pads were hard as a bro k and felt like lumps under the sheets, sheets on beds were clean but very stained and towels had rips down the edges.
100% HORRIBLE stay for the $169 I was charged. I’ll NEVR recommend or stay again
They charged you for breakfast
Always holiday in. The brand is a good hotel, room was clean and the facilities was ok.
We reserved a double room and with no communication when we arrived the staff told me that the hotel was full and the system was not working properly and my room was not reserved and the only option was giving me another room only one bed and sofa.

This property lacks basic customer service. To arrive at 9pm on 2/23 to two agents at the desk and both of them looking down and not acknowledging their guests clearly shows that the simple 5-10 rule is non existent here. The check in process was horrible, the female did not look happy to be there, did not acknowledge me and my status as a Platinum Elite member at all. No eye contact throughout the interaction , she just asked for my ID and card and handed me the keys with no information whatsoever. My girlfriend and I left the desk not feeling welcomed at all. As someone that is in the hospitality industry and have managed multiple luxury hotels and resorts, if one of team members treated our guests like this, they would receive a stern coaching. I gave this hotel two stars because the room was clean and everything was in working order. I understand that this is a Holiday Inn and not a 5 star hotel, but to not receive a simple “hello” or “welcome” from any of the two agents at the desk is unacceptable. I will not return to this property ever again.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel facilities were nice.
Bathroom in our room was not cleaned. Hair in shower and hair in sink. Bathtub stopper was broken and lever for shower would not turn off for bathtub. We opened microwave to warm up our coffee and there was left over food in there. Smelled bad.
Comfortable beds
We booked it for the heated indoor pool. The pool was freezing cold and their permit wasn’t up to code. Disappointing for kids.
