Pros:

Location was just right for our trip. Near bird/nature preserves, providing a relaxing drive toward Norfolk. Staff was friendly, especially Wanda, who welcomed us when we arrived. A delight! The breakfast was as good and tasty as any large hotel- professional. Room was perfect for us- pillows/bed very comfortable. If we're birding that way again, we'd definitely want to stay here!

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind. It was fine for us.

It was a quick overnight stop. Bed was comfortable.

It was good but slightly disappointing.
Pros:

Didn’t have breakfast-thought breakfast was part of the ‘amenities’ but I would be charged. Not worth the price.

Cons:

Front desk customer service-the gentleman at the desk was barely cordial. A bit surprising since my last visit -the woman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful.
And, had planned to eat at the hotel since it was raining. Didn’t happen since the ‘chef didn’t show up’ according to the woman managing the restaurant.

Great stay on way to beach.
Pros:

Great location for travel stop on way to Tidewater and Outer Banks beaches. Breakfast area better than most, although fancy coffee machines cause bottlenecks.

Cons:

Just a little dust in the bathroom vent. Not sure it was functional. People wanting quick access to load cars propping open exit doors because keycard swipe inoperative.
