Was comfortable and next to the interstate.
Great staff and beautiful building. FOOD WAS GREAT AND BAR AREA..
Convenient location, but the breakfast was a meagar choice of only carbs. Disappointing.
Great food!
I returned to the Holiday Inn Casper after staying here two years ago. That earlier visit was disappointing. I decided to give the hotel another chance while in town for two nights.
The property, built around 2008, has never been renovated. Unfortunately, the lack of investment shows. Carpets in both public spaces and guestrooms are stained and worn, furniture is scuffed, the pool is in bad shape, and the fitness equipment is several years outdated. By any reasonable measure, the hotel is overdue by seven years for a full renovation. With the property currently up for sale, it seems unlikely any updates will happen soon.
That said, my stay was not without positives. Despite the tired condition of the facilities, the hotel was spotless. My room was among the cleaner ones I’ve had in recent memory. Housekeeping provided full service on both days of my stay. Staff were consistently polite and well-intentioned.
Breakfast in the restaurant was made-to-order from the menu. As a guest with IHG elite status, I received a complimentary breakfast voucher. The food was good and service was prompt. I also had a glass of wine at the bar, where the chardonnay poured was Chateau Ste. Michelle — a better brand than expected. The bar seemed popular with business travelers, though I cannot comment on the dinner menu.
In short, this Holiday Inn desperately needs investment, but the employees are doing their best with an aging product. With new ownership and a much-needed renovation, the hotel has the potential to be significantly better.
Excellent property, clean comfortable room, friendly helpful staff!
We arrived in Casper really tired and my husband was not feeling well at all. This was the perfect respite. Quiet, comfortable room, pretty decent restaurant on site, fun pool for our child, and even a nice place for our dog to take a little walk. We ended up extending for another night so he could recover fully, and that was easy to do, staff was really helpful. Great place!
Deeply disappointed by the experience at this hotel. Upon check-in, I was met with blatant disrespect by an employee named Jim, whose behavior was nothing short of unprofessional. Without giving me the courtesy of a conversation or any opportunity to explain that I was in town visiting family, he informed me I would be “walked out” simply because I have a local address.
This rigid, dismissive approach is not only poor hospitality — it’s a complete failure in basic human decency. For a property that proudly displays a “customer service award” at the front desk, it’s clear that the bar must be set embarrassingly low. I expected courtesy. Do better.
We booked this hotel because they advertised a pool and hot tub. After we checked in we went to the pool and there was sign on the door saying “Pool Closed.” No one said anything at check in or when we booked. Very disappointing, feels like false advertising. We would’ve stayed anywhere else for the pool if we knew the pool here was closed.
Clean and comfortable with welcoming staff and delicious breakfast.
jjjjkk
We stayed overnight on a road trip and would stay again. The hotel is older but well-maintained. Our king bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There was a sitting area and Keurig coffee machine.
We ate breakfast at the hotel and the waitress was wonderful--very attentive even though she was the only one working the tables.
There is a tiny gym which only has a few pieces of cardio equipment - no weights or weightlifting equipment.
Front desk staff is friendly.
The only down side was the restaurant bar area had signs saying they were open until 8 pm but at times they were closed by 630.
the hotel was very nice and really liked that they offered a sit down breckfast instead of the average buffet style breckfast. We had to pay for the breckfast instead of the standard free buffet, which is ok but by no means delicious, the food was absolutely delicious and very low cost considering the quality. I had bacon, eggs, home fries, toast and coffee and the cost was $10.00 Even though it's nice to have breckfast included when staying at Holiday inn I would gladly pay when the food, service and cost is so reasonable.
We had a great stay
Took a vacation from home for wife’s birthday. Motel and staff were wonderful.
