Good stay overall
Pros:

A very authentic Italian hotel with beautiful rooms. Would definitely recommend as it is a great price for Florence and a great location. Staff was very lovely.

Cons:

Be aware, if you are staying in the main hotel there is often very loud groups of drunk students playing loud music right outside, luckily we had booked a room in the separate building- I would very much recommend this to avoid being disturbed by noise!!

Pros:

La stanza spaziosa, bellissima in questo palazzo rinascimentale. La storia del posto e della piazza sono davvero affascinanti. Il letto comodissimo e la stanza dotata di ogni comfort.

Pros:

This hotel is in an historic building, in an historic location. This in my view made the experience excellent for the charm, ease of location, and unique setup. They've done a great job making the rooms comfortable, with great beds, showers/baths, refrigerator, coffee/tea. Breakfast was superb, and well attended.

Cons:

The reality is, the hotel is fit into an historic structure. There are stairs involved with just about any room selection, the elevator is small (only holds 2 people w/o bags), and much like all hotels in Italy in winter, the A/C was not available. These factors were part of the charm for us, but are real factors.
