Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Wunderschönes Gebäude mit sehr netten Personal. Einfach traumhaft.

Ein imposantes Gebäude - ein echter Palazzo, der einen von der Ankunft an in den Bann zieht. Freundlicher Empfang. Die Zimmer sind ok - sind sind nicht auf dem neuesten Standard. Das Badezimmer war klein und von der Einrichtung überschaubar - aber es war sauber, und die Dusche funktionierte. Die Zimmer sind - vermutlich aufgrund der nicht so wirklich dicken Türen - relativ hellhörig. Das Frühstück war gut.

Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas mauvais même si la clim fuyait à grosses gouttes. Hotel non loin du centre ville, si vous avez de bonnes jambes vous pouvez le faire à pieds. Possibilité de se garer ce qui n’est pas négligeable. Personnel sympathique. Le lit était plutôt confort et la salle de bain spacieuse.

everything was good but there is a limited car park space on site. i suggest be sure to have a available car park space on phone before arrival

This was a very cool property I’m very glad I chose it. The room while a little dated was clean and comfortable. It was a hike up to the property but worth it. There are other hotels with easier access to the city center, but the view from this property is amazing.

We stayed at the Hotel Vela for 1 night only ( july 2025) it was around 15 minute walk from the train station Santa Margherita Ligure. The hotel is beautiful and offers stunning views, yes it’s a bit of a climb to get there but worth it! Breakfast was really nice set in a lovely room with a good choice of pastries, breads, yoghurts, cereal and fruit. Air conditioning was welcome in the July heat and the shower was great. Good night sleep as it’s such a peaceful setting.

We stayed one night in this beautiful hotel. The hill is a bit of a climb (especially in the July heat) but worth it for the views and to stay in this lovely setting

Hôtel bien placé pas trop loin du centre, juste au dessus de la voie de chemin de fer, un peu bruyante.

Très bel hotel mais rapport qualité-prix un peu élevé.
Assez calme.

Charming nice place but amenities need to be improved

A historical and beautiful work of art, with a beautiful view. About 8 minute walk to the town square.

What a gem of a hotel…. Castle above Santa Margherita, a little long walk from the marina but worth it! If you have a car it’s a tight drive up but you can do it! Rooms 26-27-28 have real good views, 38 has the best view. You can also walk to the top of the torrent for a phenomenal view of the bay. Nice breakfast, excellent service from everyone we encountered…. If you want to stay somewhere different this is the place for you!

Also die Ankunft war ein Abenteuer.
Mit Vorderrad Antrieb und viel Gebäck im Kofferraum kommt man die doch relativ steile Auffahrt nicht hoch. Die Räder hatten keinen Grip und die Räder drehten durch, sodas die einzige Lösung war, dass meine Frau auf die Motorhaube sitzen musste um da hoch zu kommen. Mit einem Vierrad wäre es sicherlich kein Problem.
Ansonsten ist es ein sehr schöner Ort.

Mooi, oud hotel in een prachtige omgeving. Onze kamer was ruim. Goede airco, badkamer is gedateerd en biedt weinig comfort. Hotel ligt dichtbij een spoorweg en dus best oordoppen gebruiken om rustig te kunnen slapen. Het ontbijt was goed. Je betaalt 15 euro per dag om je auto op hun parking te plaatsen (staat niet vermeld bij de faciliteiten!)
