Hidden spot found in Spain
Pros:

Reached here via a sail trip that drops you off at the resort. Mind you if you are not staying in the resort you are just accessible to the restaurant and the little corner of the beach. We did try food here and it was not disappointing at all. Moreover the vibes are beautiful because the view is extraordinary. Was a little difficult to order though due to language barrier but everything was fine. Eventually we enjoyed every bit of it. They were very hospitable. You can stay as long as you want at the beach and the little ship comes every 10 minutes whenever you feel like going back. The place was definitely super clean and well maintained. Noise level - A BIG NO. You are right in the centre of nature and beautiful waves, what else would you not want to hear. The sounds of the waves are genuinely relaxing and apart from that nothing else is gonna bother you.

ZEL Costa Brava worst ever!!! Never GO THERE!!
Pros:

Upon arrival, we were assigned a basement room that had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and inadequate ventilation. This environment is entirely unsuitable, unhealth and very dirty . Furthermore, access to the room is via steep stairs, which she is physically unable to use safely.

The room which was represented to us as a family sut and charged for 3 adults and 1 child of 15 years only had a one double room for 4 whereas charged us for a one basement room with no day light or window almost 1000 euro per night. We consider this unacceptable, as the room provided was not fit for occupancy given my mother’s medical condition and did not meet the standard reasonably expected from any property.
In addition, the photographs and description of the accommodation published on the website do not accurately represent the room that was allocated to us. The condition, location, and overall quality of the room differ substantially from what was advertised. Had the accommodation been represented truthfully, we would not have made this reservation. Moreover the so load and bad music in the entrance was giving headache. Parking, spa sport activities are all subject to extra charges. Very unfriendly ve u professional stuff. It took us 5 hours to reach some manager as the general manager herself was on vacation and someone Paula came with no clue of handling anything after 5 hours of repeated request. So badly managed place in the middle of nowhere with a mentality of cheating and robbing holiday makers !!!!! Worst eesort on earth in every aspect

Wundervolle Lage mit schöner Badebucht, bequeme Standseilbahn, sehr gut ausgestattetes Gym, Zimmer sehr komfortabel, Essen - Frühstück und Abendessen - wirklich außergewöhnlich gut, super gemütliche Lobby zum Verweilen, ausreichend Liegen an den Pools, vielseitige Sportanlagen, für unsere Kleinste einen sehr schönen Kidsclub mit täglich wechselnden Angeboten - super, Sportanimation für die Teens war top - alle Animateure super motiviert, vor allem der Animateur David hatte immer coole Ideen - wenn die Teilnehmerzahl mal klein war - fand er passende Abwandlungen

Cons:

Um die Mittagshitze wollten wir einmal auf den Insoorpool ausweichen - der kostet leider extra, zu viert jeder Besuch für 90 Euro und mit Kindern auch nur zwischen 13 und 15 Uhr - für ein familienfreundliches Hotel ungünstig

Quiet time at Costa Brava.
Pros:

Cala is very nice. Boat Service to Tossa del Mar is recommended.

Room are great, good view and A/C works perfect which is very appreciated in EU.

Staff deserves a recognition, they are welcoming in every service point.

Coffee in the entrance of the hotel is a nice surprise. Good Quality. There is also a kiosk or truck in the beach area.

Cons:

Unbelievably for Spain and Catalonia, the food was not good at the hotel. For the price you pay for the hotel they need to fix this. I have stayed with other melia hotels and food is better.

The hotel charges for parking, literally the cars are left in an inside road of the hotel. Feels cheap of the hotel to charge for the spot 25Euros. Take into account there is no other place to park since you are up in the mountain. They should be more client focused.

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel zum abschlaten und geniessen!
Pros:

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub mit dem Kidsklub (sehr freundliches Personal), den div. Sportmöglichkeiten, dem tollen Pool und dem wunderschönen Strand sehr genossen. Der Aufenthalt hätte für uns nicht besser sein können.

Cons:

Das einzige was zu verbessern wäre, ist das Essen im Mercato (Buffetrestaurant) und das Auswärtige Leute beim Stransrestaurant (Pardo) gleich viel bezahlen wie Hotelgäste.

Pros:

El trato del personal exquisito y muy atentos. Las instalaciones espectaculares y la ubicación inmejorable con acceso directo a una calita. Ambiente muy familiar, hemos estado genial.

Cons:

Si tuviera que poner algún pero sería el precio, que al menos en temporada alta es muy elevado. Pero al menos la experiencia compensa!
