The Village Resort

The hotel ( we stayed in one of the bungalows 516 ) is clean and well cleaned by friendly staff. The place it's self is tired, looking and showing its age with some big cracks in the masonry . At night and early morning, there is a lot of noise from the main building behind the bungalows of staff talking and pushing noisy carts about from place to place, so we didn't sleep well. The bed is basically a mattress on a wooden floor making it difficult to get up from if you need the bathroom at night..

Hotel was great, beautiful and a really nice location. Breakfast was absolutely diabolical and wasn’t much options. We had electrical problem due to the weather which affected our Wi-Fi. We got offer drinks however could not choose as we don’t drink alcohol and we wasn’t offered anything else. Also up on checking out I was accused of stealing a glass all because a cleaner did not report that we smashed the glass by accident due to wind and weather we was charged ฿50for that which we didn’t mind. It was the fact that we was accused of stealing it and you have to leave a ฿3000 on checking in receptionist was judged rude and was acting like she was going to keep the whole money over a glass. We was confused because we did not remember about the glass at first. This was absolutely outrageous now wouldn’t stay in this hotel just because I’m British does not mean I’m going to steal from a hotel killed the vibe of our holiday on the last day

We spent 2 weeks at The Village and it was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Really good and varied breakfast options and the pool area was very relaxing. Super fast internet and great facilities, would definitely recommend staying here :)

A small very quiet adult hotel with very spacious rooms . Fitness facilities at Front Village was so small max 5 m2 and bad maintained. Breakfast wasn’t great but okay .. we rated this hotel almost 5 star because of the quietness and the staff willingness to help and solve the problems.

Wonderful small resort with 34 rooms. It’s an adult only resort- made it especially quiet and enjoyable! The pool is lively and swim up bar is great. Nam is particularly helpful and helped us get around the local area and makes the best cocktails! It’s close to walk everywhere but we got indrives because it was so hot! The beach is a bit dirty but they all are.

Amazing resort with fabulous pool, swim up bar and restaurant We had wonderful service from the staff especially from Mae. Breakfast was excellent, choice of hot meals, eggs cooked at request plus pastries, fresh fruit and cereal.
We had a swim out room which was well appointed with dressing room and large king size bed. The beds are firm but we found it comfortable. Robes and slippers (Jandals) provided. The room was very clean and serviced daily, and bottled water restocked. The mini fridge was very handy and you are allowed to bring in cold drinks from outside the resort to have in your room . We had no issues with bugs or mosquitoes and we sat in the pool area in the evenings.
The location was very good, handy to shops and restaurants but quiet at night.
We were a group of 10 and everyone was very pleased with our stay and would happily return.

I loved The Village Resort. I had been staying at Le Meridien for the week before, which is nice, but very much a typical Marriott experience. This place was much more down to earth, nature-forward (I don’t mean bugs- cute birds and trees), and the poolside villa was incredible. So beautiful, and so nice to have a little porch.

Tropical garden villa was very nice. The staff were super kind. They were very careful with my daughter’s peanut/ tree nut allergy. There is a security person that stops traffic in front so you can cross the busy road. It’s a short walk around the lake to the Karon beach area.

Unfortunately found the bed too hard.

It was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed the pool area, our room, breakfast and the friendly staff.

Loved all the areas of the grounds, fabulous staff very helpful. Pool area beautiful and the pool access villas old style and wonderful. Breakfast was ok could have have alittle more variety but good. Dinner menu or room service menu fantastic.

Perfect stay, beautiful & spacious swim up pool room.

This property was disappointing. When we checked in, the floors did not feel very clean, the bed was hard as a rock, not enough toilet paper, we always had to ask for more, the toilet would keep running each time you would flush it. My husband had to keep pushing the plug down inside the tank to stop it from running.
The buffett breakfast was horrible, instant coffee, juice was very diluted and no flavor with the hot food items. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. The cost of the room per night was not worth it.

We had an amazing time staying here at the village resort, the room we got was fantastic, the staff was beyond accommodating, and with easy walking access to restaurants and the beach, we had an amazing time! I would return to this resort in a heartbeat.

Loved the hotel and grounds and also the staff !! Just pick it up and put it somewhere else . Wasn’t fussed on the area

Jeab are The best receptionist who take good care of everyone att the hotel, also her collegies are very nice and helpful. Its a convenient and beatiful hotel that we come back to. Closeness to The sea is beatiful and wonderful to look at in Evening.

Had such a lovely time staying here, the hotel is beautiful, the pool excess rooms are amazing.

This is a really lovely hotel, the grounds and swimming pool are lovely. The plants are well established and compliment the lay out.
It is a well established hotel and some aspects could do with an update but this somehow does not detract from the experience.
We thought it was like an oasis when you come back from the hustle and bussle of Karon.
The staff are polite and helpful although sometimes a bit elusive.
The rooms are comfortable and large and well designed.
Overall we loved this hotel and would happily stay there again.
