The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing – there are loads of great restaurants and shops right on the doorstep, which made exploring the area really enjoyable. We also received a very warm and friendly welcome from the front desk staff, which was much appreciated after a long journey ( help me print some tickets ) Amazing if you went to be close to the train station

Annoying the room I was in I could hear the lift going up and down all night.

Good hotel near railway station
Pros:

Great reception; staff great location. I asked if you for a room with as much natural light as possible and was kindly allocated one in advance so didn't want to.move despite issue 1 below

Cons:

1. Lift noise even during night
2. Lighting and heating controls need an electronic engineer to get them right.
3. Coffee sachets hard to open

Good location. Overall clean

Cons:

Staff not very friendly. Neither rude, but not good customer service. To do early check in you need to pay extra and free wi fi for 24h unless you sign up to their chain. Really dont like that. Overall I doubt I will be back

Dirty bedding & uncomfortable bed!

Cons:

I got moved twice, first room the bed had hairs on it, second room the heating didn’t work, third room also had hairs on the bed but I’d given up complaining after being moved twice already, beds uncomfortable and breakfast bad for the price, wouldn’t stay again, ever!

Cons:

Nice bathroom, but you can't fill the basin. There is no plug to do that, and that's not because the plug was missing or didn't work, the design of the plug hole precludes closing it, so the water just runs away. It means you have to wash and shave under a running tap. So stupid, so wasteful, totally NOT environmentally friendly, wasting all that water and energy.
