We stayed for five nights. Room was clean and comfy. We had a cool breeze although the window could only be opened very slightly. It was quiet and convenient for the train station but not that near the centre. WiFi was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much.

I rated this hotel a perfect 10/10, and it is absolutely deserved! The room itself was incredibly spacious and sparkling clean.
But the biggest and most wonderful surprise was the AC! When booking, the description only mentioned a fan. Since the weather forecast showed a scorching 29°C, I was so worried about the heat that I almost cancelled my entire trip. I am so glad I didn't! When I arrived at the hotel and saw a proper air conditioner in my room, my happiness knew no bounds. It made my stay completely comfortable and perfect. Thank you so much for exceeding my expectations!
Very well situated close to Temple Meads railway station as well as Temple Quay for the harbour ferry to get round Bristol. Easy to walk into the city centre from there

Some of the information about the hotel when scanning the QR code to get to it seems out of date eg food options in the evening are now downstairs by the bar/where breakfast is served which isn’t what the information suggests

Very disappointing stay, not the standard I expected from Ibis.
We were assigned a Room, which was unbearably hot because the air conditioning was not working. Before booking, I had specifically checked that the rooms had air conditioning, as my husband and I cannot sleep comfortably in a warm room. Although there was an air-conditioning unit in the room, it was completely non-functional.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that a friend staying at the hotel on the same night, in the same room category, had a room on the seventh floor where the air conditioning worked perfectly. When we reported the problem to reception, we were told that no alternative room was available and that only the renovated rooms on the seventh floor had functioning air conditioning. It is difficult to understand why guests paying for the same room category receive such different standards.
We paid £126 for one night, yet the room offered little more than a bed and a broken air-conditioning unit. At that price, I expected at least a basic level of comfort.
To make matters worse, at around 6:00 a.m., we were woken by extremely loud water and plumbing noises coming from the floors above. The noise from the bathroom pipes was so loud that it made it impossible to rest.
I have stayed at several Ibis hotels in the past and have generally found them to be reliable and comfortable. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below those expectations. For a three-star hotel, I expected basic amenities and a reasonable level of comfort, but neither was provided during our stay.
I also contacted customer service and provided all the details of what happened, but unfortunately, I have received no response or follow-up whatsoever. This has made the experience even more disappointing, as I expected my complaint to at least be acknowledged.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and, in my opinion, not good value for £126 per night.
The housekeeping was not up to scratch. The bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly and only one towel left instead of two. No coffee refreshed either .
Cannot believe how expensive this hotel was. No fridge, no air con. Construction works overnight. No wardrobe. Stunk of smoking in room which being on 5th floor is scary. Nothing positive to say and don't waste your phone bill trying to ring the hotel direct. Call centre useless. Lesson learnt.
