Didn’t stay due to all the reviews said they had bedbugs, I wasn’t taking a chance.
Bedbugs
The view was incredible and the staff was very friendly.
The indoor pool is definitely not heated so if you stay here in off season it'll be cold 🥶
The location, that there was a Walgreens across the street, the rooms were quiet, staff was very nice, right on the beach, and vending machine variety.
Ice machines were dirty, you have to go outside to go to the pool even in the winter, on site store didn’t have essentials and don’t stay open on a regular.
It was horrible
We have stayed here probably 20 times over the years and it was always our favorite place to stay in VAB but this time was awful. While packing to check out I found a bedbug in a dresser drawer. I called the desk and was told the manager would contact me. Two hours later, I tracked her down at the hotel office. She acted like she doubted me. I showed her the squashed bug on a tissue. She stated that she would order an inspection, which would take a few days and that if bugs were found she would possibly refund part of my money. I wasn't asking for a refund. I was asking for help to avoid an infestation at home. She stated that the laundry could wash our clothes but that was the only help she would offer. This would not resolve the issue with suitcases, tote bags, cooler bags, shoes, etc. Furthermore, she had already made us wait for 2 hours and we had a long drive home so having them wash our clothes would have caused us to drive in the dark and, being seniors, we avoid this. I told her that offering half of a solution wouldn't do and that l intended
to report the hotel to the BBB and leave a negative review, to which she responded, "Go ahead." | left the hotel in tears. I am going to have to unload my suitcases on the porch and treat each item before bringing it in. I am going to have to wash clothing in the hottest water and dry at the highest setting for 30 minutes, which is going to shrink and fade some items.
Just be aware, if you stay at this place and have a problem, vou're on vour own. Their manager, Brissa Arellano, just doesn't care. She even made a
remark that they don't rent to homeless people and I can't even begin to understand what that was supposed to mean and I find that remark insulting.

Could be a bit cleaner
It was an amazing stay except the first couple days our toilet was broke so I asked front desk if I could just use plunger I would do my self the toilet kept running and water came out all over the place which had gotten some of my stuff covered it feeces from clogged toilet!! After that we had a great time there. Was hoping I was gonna get refund for 1 night seriously I had to go to laundry Matt spend money to clean my clothes

Wifi wasn't working. Had work to do and zoom meetings. Wifi Was very spotty and the 6th floor was just painted so when I got off the elevator it smelled like paint. I immediately went to front desk to cancel my reservation. Folks at front desk were understanding but hotel still didn't give me a full refund.

The balconies are semi private. There's only a guard rail separating you from your "neighbor ".

The location was great, just far from the pier, but walk to the beach and boardwalk.

The pillows are very uncomfortable, they were tiny pillows. The towels were super thin. The rooms needs TLC and updating.
