Staff gentilissimo, ma pulizia e posizione deludono rispetto al prezzo

Considerando i prezzi di Singapore, la tariffa era sicuramente abbastanza economica, ma per quanto ho pagato mi aspettavo qualcosa di più.

La prima notte mi è stata assegnata una camera in cui l’aria condizionata ha smesso di funzionare quasi subito. A settembre, con il caldo e l’umidità di Singapore, non è stato affatto piacevole. Devo però riconoscere che, non appena ho segnalato il problema, lo staff è intervenuto rapidamente e mi ha cambiato camera. Il personale è stato sempre gentilissimo e disponibile, e questo è sicuramente l’aspetto migliore della struttura.

Purtroppo, però, anche la seconda camera presentava un problema di pulizia: la doccia, con tenda e a vista, era piena di capelli dell’ospite precedente. Una cosa decisamente poco piacevole, che ha influito molto sulla mia esperienza e sul giudizio complessivo.

La posizione è piuttosto scomoda, soprattutto perché distante dalle stazioni della metropolitana. Personalmente non ho avuto particolari problemi a camminare, ma per chi preferisce spostarsi con i mezzi pubblici potrebbe essere un disagio.

In conclusione, apprezzo davvero la gentilezza e la prontezza del personale, ma la pulizia delle camere e la posizione non hanno soddisfatto le mie aspettative rispetto al prezzo pagato.

Pros:

I loved the location, everything was with walking distance.

Cons:

I didn't like that when I went to check out, my earphones were missing and no one, absolutely no one knew where it was. It was quite new and I remembered seeing it in that room. My room was only cleaned 3 times as I scheduled it, to minimize foot traffic in and out. I am very disappointed in this.

Das Personal an der Rezeption hat ewig gebraucht für unseren Check-In, als hätten sie noch nie jemanden eingecheckt.

Amazing budget hotel in the centre of Singapore
Pros:

Love that it was super clean and modern and small. Great. Lots of places to eat but this is Singapore! It is a Budget hotel so expectations are clearly adjusted to this concept.

Cons:

The name in GRAB still says Ibis Budget Pearl instead of Ibis Budget Vanda but this is not a problem for the hotel itself. Also, you might need to know that the area becomes a sort of "red district". Again this is not an issue with the hotel, but it is good to know.

It's a budget hotel. Small rooms. Staff are friendly.
Pros:

It was a cheap option - Singapore hotels are very expensive during F1 week

Cons:

Room is smaller than a prison cell - it just fits the bed. In prison cells you have some walking space by the bed.
Windows won't open but that's everywhere in Singapore for some reason. How do you get clean air?

overall my experience with the hotel is very good, I like the hotel, and I'll stay back again

the location in Geylang area is great with variety of foods and restaurants all around, the hotel is very clean, the room is just good enough for me for a single person.

Cons:

at the time I check in the room, the air condition is not functioning well. I feel too warm, hence I ask for a change of room, and the hotel staff is very helpful to exchange a room for me. Great!
