Exactly what we were looking for
Pros:

Accommodation in Singapore is very expensive and so this was the perfect, budget friendly option. Since we were out most of the day touring the city, we literally just needed a place to sleep in the evening as we were not looking for some fancy resort (e.g., Marina Bay Sands). This place ticked all of those boxes.

Yes, the hotel is not particularly fancy, but it is a budget hotel and we were not looking for 5 stars.
The hotel is not near the main city centre, but it is close to public transportation and is in a safe area where we were not worried to walk around at night.
The room is small, but again it did its job and we were happy.
The hotel provides a water cooler which is also a lifesaver to use before heading out for the day.

Cons:

The rooms were very small and the walls were fairly thin and so you could definitely hear your neighbours when they came in and out of the rooms. There were not major noise disturbances (e.g., parties down the hallway) but we could hear noise and movement in the rooms next to us which woke us up a few times. If there was slightly better noise insulation that would help.
