Die Lage des Hotels ist super, sehr schön angelegt, große Pools, auch für Kinder geeignet.
Es sollte auf jedenfalls sehr deutlich geschrieben werden, dass das Hotel eigentlich ein Familienhotel ist, das ist auch ok, aber ich ( wir ) finden es gut, das in der Hotelbeschreibing zu erwähnen und nicht,dass der Gast es selber herausfinden muss.
Das Essen ist nicht abwechslungsreich, vor allem zum Frühstück.
Es ist nach meinem Empfinden kein 5* Hotel, allenfalls 3*
Aber, vielleicht gelten im Ausland( speziell Portugal andere Leistungen dafür).

We had a wonderful experience at Santo Monte. It was a last-minute find for us after our original hotel was cancelled by the property just an hour before check-in. We found Santo Monte through Booking.com recommendations, and it turned out to be the best discovery.
From the moment we arrived, José gave us a fantastic introduction to the resort—informative, warm, and very professional. He made us feel immediately welcome and ensured we had everything we needed to settle in comfortably.
The accommodation options were great for our family of five, giving us the space and comfort we needed throughout our stay.
The restaurant staff were also very helpful on our last day, assisting us with refilling water and making our departure smooth and hassle-free. It made everything an easy and pleasant exit.
Overall, the service at Santo Monte was excellent, but José truly stood out for his attentiveness and knowledge. His introduction set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable stay, and we really appreciated his thoughtful approach.
A highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and attentive service.

Very clean, and staff was very polite. The resort is well-kept and so was the interior.
The gym could be bigger. And at the time of my stay the hot tub was out of order.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Die Wohnung war riesen gross und wir hatten noch einen grossen Sitzplatz dazu. Die Anlage ist sehr gross/gemütlich. Wir waren mit einem Auto unterwegs, es gab PP in der Nähe des Zimmers, es gab einen Innen- und Aussenpool (leider nicht beheizt). Es gab eine Art Bar beim Aussenpool und ein feines Restaurant (etwas überteuert). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gab noch ein Miniclub für die Kinder, das könnte man auch etwas hübscher gestalten- sehr chaotisch aber den Kids hat es gefallen, mal zu malen oder auf dem Spielplatz zu sein.
Es ist kein 5 Sterne, es ist sehr geläufig und hat alles was man in den Ferien braucht, aber man sieht schon das es ein älteres Hotel ist.
