Lovely Hotel, staff and owner were fabulous. Very friendly.

Near the church where I need to be.Saff where fantastic. The food was excellent.
A little dated but lovely.
On arrival at the bar area I had a refreshing drink and made the owners aware that I was here to check in . I found the staff to be helpful and welcoming . I was shown to my room .
The room was en suite with an over bath shower . The room was clean and comfy enough .
There is a nice bar downstairs that also serves food and a little seating area out the back to .
The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet - just how I like it . Despite my few minor issues below I still consider the stay here to be a good one .
The black mold around the bath sealant is not great tbh but given how clean everything else was I didn’t complain about it .
The internet didn’t seem to work . I could connect to the booster but there seem to be no internet . I may have done something wrong .
I was less than pleased with delivery driver at 5am revving his van and door slamming .
Comfy room & lovely staff
Nothing
Room very tidy and clean
Welcoming, helpful and lovely room. It's not a 5* hotel but it's ambience and staff make up for the odd area in need of an update. I stay here when visiting family and always come away feeling rested.
Only thing I could think of was a bit of a redecorate in areas.
No working WiFi in the room.
Having stayed at the White Hart many times previously, a returning customer is always a good sign in my book! The staff are friendly and cheerful, the food is good, and it is great to see a busy bar area with locals to chat to.
In a good location for sightseeing around Martock, Yeovil and the surrounding area, Peter will be sure to give you a warm welcome, a good meal a good beer.
Location in lovely village ..

The pub/hotel was very outdated and extremely tired all around and in a poor state of decoration and repair.
The room we were allocated was straight out of a derelict property.
The bed was not very clean, the mattress was completely collapsed on one side, the pillows were paper thin and provided no support what so ever.
The carpet was well past its sell by date. filthy dirty and sticky underfoot, so much so we didn’t dare take our shoes or socks off.
The decor was extremely tired and at least 5 years over due a full redecoration. The wall had huge cracks running across them where the plaster had blown beneath the wood chip wall paper and opened up huge cracks.
The box sash windows were not fit for purpose and would not stay open, again long over due essential maintenance and reworking of the sash cords, pulleys and weights.
The mix matched “charity shop” style ancient furniture was dreadful.
The bathroom was repulsive. The shower had black mould all around the tray and screen. The tray, cubicle and electric shower were at a wild guess around 35 years old. The tiling was matching - disgusting. The floor again, sticky and not nice at all.
We ended up getting up at 03:30 and leaving as my wife could not sleep a wink as she felt dirty in the room, the pillows were wafer thin as well as her side of the bed being collapsed.
So we wasted £147 for a disgusting, outdated room that is not fit for purpose and to be frank an absolute embarrassment to the property, looks nothing like the one in the photographs and certainly should not be sold as fit to stay in.
I have made a formal complaint to the local Environmental Health Team as well as booking.com in order to obtain a full refund, failing this I will be using the small claims process for sheer principle!
