Ocean Mist Hotel

If you are looking to stay beach front or very close to the beach this is the hotel to choose. Property is beautiful, convenient to restaurants, able to rent bikes, two pools. Best of all, steps to the beach!

Beautiful room, friendly staff and clean beach and pool. House keeping was wonderful and kept our room fresh and clean and sand free :)

5/10 foxs are on the property waiting for food to be left behind. Ppl treating them like pets. Scared my kid and never wanted to be at the beach again. Not enjoyable

It was right on the beach. Very quiet. Our room was wonderful. It was very large with a kitchenette in the loft with a balcony that overlooked the ocean, so it was quite lovely. I would definitely go back.

Great location. Nice rooms with views. Clean and staff is very friendly. Room was clean and had good amenities. I stay here often for work.

We have been coming here for over 5 years and the last 2 years we have noticed a huge difference in the level of service from the staff. We had several issues with our rooms and check in last year, rooms not being ready until after 4, none of preferences being met with members of our party being near each other, proximity to the beach, types of rooms ect, like come on at least meet ONE of our request! Especially where at this point it was our 4th year coming back. In addition our door broke and at 11pm and we were locked out, I get that this happens, but what through me over the edge was the complete "oh well" attitude of the night staff, he literally had no idea how to get us in and could have cared less about figuring it out. My husband finally realized the window was unlocked and we could climb in through there! After all this we were promised that if we came back the following year they would take care of our party, we even followed up with the managers through email. This year we all got the same room to help ensure being near each other and requested 1st floor. When he expressed dissatisfaction upon check in that one of the members in the party did not get this and if there was anything they could do, we were told if we waited until later check in we could probably be accommodated. We waited, and waited, and waited, and finally at 4:15 WE had to be the ones to go to the front desk and ask what was going on and were still not accommodated with our request. In fact they knew the whole time they wouldn't be able to accommodate it but the front desk girl just didn't want to deal with it so she made us wait until her shift was over so the next person could deal with it. Now the new front desk girl is trying to figure out what's going on and a solution and calls the manager Frank, who we also spoke with last year, and he HANGS up on her! We get another manager to come out and he tells us he doesn't have time to talk to us! So sad to have so many great memories here but after 2 awful years we will not be coming back.

Our room with a balcony overlooking the ocean was so beautiful! We loved it and hope to stay again. The staff were very accommodating. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and we appreciated all the towels. Would just have loved a great cup of coffee in the morning! That would be the only thing that could be improved.

I booked our room 2 1/2 months before our stay and we were placed in a room that essentially in the basement in the dark, they had an upgrade available and I was willing to pay the difference (even though we already paid $1100
For three nights PLUS and additional $250 Holding fee! ) and I was told this wasn’t possible because we paid through Priceline. No where on the website did it say changes would not be available . So essentially we paid $1350 for basement accommodation!! 😡

Great location, beautiful beach, pool and outdoor hot tub. The views are spectacular from the beach. Rooms are very nice. Highly recommend for the price.

We enjoy our stay at Ocean Mist, we will come back here again in the future. Great beachfront location. The check in and check out process were seamless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed is outdated but clean. They have a stable wifi and we didn’t have the issue throughout the day and night.
Con: we hear the occupants above us running around constantly for a long time back and forth super early in the morning, in the late afternoon and late at night during the duration of our stay.

We love staying here. Had an ocean front room. With kitchenette but no utensils,pans or pots . Great pools , Hot tub & beach!!

The facilities need to be updated. Bathroom ceiling was peeling, bathtub damaged, the hallway carpet was black and disgusting.

We were there 3 nights and couldn’t get housekeeping despite asking for it. We had to get our own towels from the pool.

The sad part… pool & ocean were great but we won’t go back.

The rooms are run down. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, paint chipping in the bathroom, and the beds were dipping in the center. You could clearly the dip just looking at the beds. Also, be aware we selected a ocean view room when we booked and the room we received was a view of the parking lot. You had to go out on your balcony to see the beach. When we asked the front office we were told ocean view and partial ocean view are all the same.

I really enjoyed my stay! It was beautiful and relaxing. We loved the location. It was a little bit dirty and not cleaned on the balcony only. Our room was great! Overall, it was a great stay.

Location, staff, facilities and the pool/ beach was great!

This was not my first time here, I've been here many times before and I will come back again. Overall it is very nice location, rooms are good, close to everything that you would need. I will be back .

This is our 5th year visiting. The rooms are very clean. The location is perfect! The views are amazing and we will definitely be back next year

This hotel has a lovely clean outdoor pool (and indoor pool) and a private beach which, unfortunately is not raked so there is a lot of debris BUT the view of the water is beautiful. The hot tub seemed very popular. The grounds are clean and well kept. The loft room offers a lot of space and is very comfortable having 2 balconys with great views. While there is a kitchenette, there are no dishes, etc. so you need to come prepared if you intend to eat in. The room was clean upon arrival but it seems there is only towel exchange during your stay but we were early in the season and maybe that's not the case in high season. The room was very quiet and we did enjoy our stay. This was out 3rd year staying at this hotel.
