Nothing
Hotel was very comfortable, decor was lovely and staff were very nice.
Breakfast was delicious 😋 very good selection to choose from excellent
I couldn't fault anything tbh
Brilliant service throughout whole stay
It was very handy. As we were getting an early bus for the airport, so saved getting lifts into town.
It was a nice hotel, clean, staff was really nice. Food was really good.
The room was clean, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Lumpy and springs digging out of the mattress. Myself and my partner both had sore backs the next day. I rang the hotel about this and was told it would be passed to a manager and I would get a call back but never heard back. My own bed at home was more comfortable. So that is disappointing.
Went out of our way to have breakfast at the Headfort Arms in Kells on a rare opportunity for a full day trip. Both breakfasts consisted of reheated items. The only thing that was fresh was the toast. Some very strange brew that was impossible to identify, and described as 'easy pour coffee' arrived in a pot. Up your game, you are letting Kells down, the least one expects is freshly cooked food!
The room was very comfortable.
The carvery at lunchtime wasn't good. The eating area needs freshening up.
Really nice hotel! Good location in Kells with secure off-street parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely lounge and good breakfast.
The hand soap dispenser pump didn’t work, but that’s really minor! We had a lovely stay.
I didn't visit myself but my parents went for my dad's 70th. I called in advance to see if they could arrange some bubbly for the room or maybe give him a shout-out for dinner and was absolutely delighted with the service he received. A gorgeous cake and fruit platter was waiting in the room with a personal message along with some bubbly. At their dinner reservation he received his desert along with birthday wishes and a massive sparkler. The staff really went above and beyond to make his stay special and I could not appreciate it more!
Hospitality of the staff and ambience
We loved our stay completely
