Points North Apartments is getting a face-elevator!. This involves the exterior of the building being washed down, and a fresh coat of paint. The good news is that your view should not be interrupted, as the works will be done by abseilers (no scaffolding). While you may notice a bit of noise and activity Monday to Friday between now and the end of April 2025. We will do our best to minimize any disruption during your stay. We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to improve our property for your future enjoyment.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. A short but sweet family break.x
Pros:

Loved the location- patrolled beaches , park, pathway for scooter rides,easy access to eateries, supermarket. Secure patking a bonus and beach views!!

Photos are deceiving and bad value for money… would look elsewhere in future.

They didn’t put us in the correct room that we booked. Then it took hours of discussions then finally were moved a day later.
There pool facilities were not available and were not offered a discount but were given the option of using a pool many buildings over but you could only use the swipe for two hours.

Disappointing apartment

The view

Cons:

The apartment was described as deluxe. Was certainly not. Dated with miss matched furniture, walls with paint coming off and the bathroom floor not particularly clean. And an iron that did not work. Reported the iron was told another would come and it didn't.

Relaxing location for an extended getaway
Pros:

The location was perfect for our extended weekend. Close to everything we needed, including surf clubs, beaches and restaurants. Fabulous coffee close by. Loved that our room faced the ocean and we could hear the waves at night.

Cons:

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the property's control, the pool and spa were closed. Disappointing but not a critical problem for us.

Too old and tired to be charging over $400 per night....esp for a week long stay.
Pros:

Connection to the shopping was good.

Cons:

Internet was unreliable as it was slow in and dropped out. Hence couldn't use the TV for Foxtel or do work. Ended up streaming Netflix over mobile phones. Considering it was raining for the first part of the week, it was a major issue. Secondly when the sun came out in the second part of the week, the pool and spa were closed for maintenance.

The place was tired and too many things need updating. Will not be staying there again.

The cleanliness was not up to standard . Lots of hairs from previous tenants and surfaces dusty . Quite obvious cleaners don’t take the time to make it spotless . Aircon is on front veranda so sitting outside the hot air is blowing directly onto you .
