Not worth the price .....anymore
Pros:

Location to old town Sacramento. Amenities. Food choices, restaurant, room service. Restaurant staff very accommodating & friendly. View of the river from our room.

Cons:

Quite a bit, unfortunately. Hotel front desk staff & valet staff seemed overwhelmed during each interaction. We had to ask 4 times to get a valet to park our car upon check in. They left us standing outside not knowing what was happening. Front desk double charged me for parking at check out. No smiles. Too serious. I had to ask them to fix the charge. No apology. Room generally clean, but floors were disgustingly filthy with dust. My socks were covered in dirt. You could tell the floor had not been mopped or cleaned in days! The couch is light colored and was filthy with stains. For $600 a night in the river king suite, I expected much better. The view of the river was great, but at night, you could hear the homeless people screaming at each other for hours on the walking path outside the hotel. I'll volunteer to have a room facing the freeway next time. It will be much quieter.

Mattress was very bouncy and bought it to management’s attention.
Pros:

I have always liked this hotel because it was convenient from the stadium and the rooms are very spacious, modern and up-to-date. I also love the convenience that the room I select has a mini refrigerator and microwave. Great extra plus in this valley when it becomes very hot. Families or couples can just bring a small cooler (waters, sodas, juices, sandwiches or fried chicken to eat later) coming back from the game or visiting the Sacramento area.

Cons:

Some of the new meal options (compared to a year ago) on the menu was not that tasty or appealing for the price that they were asking. My steak had no seasoning on it at all. The day before I had a shrimp fettuccine dish which gave you the appearance of a very green vegetarian dish. Thank goodness I liked my vegetables otherwise other people would be disappointed in this dish.
